BLZBNTAGT000008FC Tried Everything - No Fix

Hi guys,

As per the above title. I’ve tried:

  1. Flushing my DNS and cache.
  2. Resetting the winmgmt repository (including adapting network settings).
  3. Turning off all anti-virus.
  4. Used Revo Uninstaller to clear previous installs.
  5. Cleared %APPDATA%, %PROGRAMDATA%, %LOCALAPPDATA%, and %TEMP% and emptied recycle bin.
  6. Goes without saying, but restarted my machine after each step.

I can’t even install BNet, it just defaults to the above error code.

Is there any fix or should I cancel my subscription?

UPDATE

For anyone that finds this post and is struggling with the same issue. If you have Malwarebytes, uninstall it, then try resetting the winmgmt repository (option 4 on the Blizz tech support link for this issue code). This fixed the issue and I was able to install BNet and am now installing WoW.
