BM Hunter - keeping up frenzy (new hunter)

Hi all,

New to BM hunter, so please be gentle :slight_smile:

One easy questions for you veterians out there. For how long are you able to keep frenzy at 3 stacks, giving that the buff is 8 secs and Barbed shot has a 11 sec recharge. It might be that im low level and am missing some talents that will/might reset charges but i am only able to keep it at 3 stacks for short amount of time, even if i try to make sure to use it only on last second or two to refresh.

If it will always run out eventually due to the difference between buff and recharge duration - do you use BW when you reach 3 stacks to maximise the dps?

Furthermore, and the last question for now :slight_smile: when it expires, do you wait for 2 stacks before starting again, in order to reach 3 stacks again?

With a full talent tree and some haste on your gear you shouldn’t have any issues keeping at 3 stacks.

Haste lessens the recharge time on barbed shot and some talents give you charges randomly but fairly consistently too.

This page has a rotation guide/priority list of when to use what and can be really helpful to go off if you feel you’re dropping stacks.
