So I have never once played BM. It is the only dps spec in the game I have never bothered with which made me want to try it out.
As far as I can see, you cast barbed shot, spam cobra and then press bestial wrath… but is there anything else?
Nothing seems to happen with the spec and there doesn’t seem to be much satisfying about it. Am I missing something?
You claim to have played all the other specs and you are unable to grasp the basic mechanics of the spec or even do a quick google search for a guide? This has to be a troll post.

I’m sorry, it wasn’t my intention to come off as trollish or even flippant, I have just had a go on the class trial as a BM and I was hoping experienced players could tell me more about the spec.
Whilst MM has arcane shot, explosive shot, rapid fire, aimed shot, bursting shot etc etc and Surv has bombs, traps, raptor strike, serpent sting, BM just seems to have Kill Command, Cobra Shot and a shot that reduced a CD for Bestial Wrath which isn’t really a direct attack ability.
I was hoping that there may be a little more going on with the spec?

I hope you dont expect someone to list you all the spells and the whole rota, with talents and cd usage, when this is all readily available under the link.
Bm is easy to learn but hard to master tbh it’s not alone barbed shot, cobra, kill command, beastial wrath.
You are not missing anything. The spec is extremely boring, low on tools and no exciting moments. As fully leveled, you will get flayed shot and kill shot procs but tbh it doesnt make the spec much more fun.
It is by far the least fun hunter spec for me and as someone who has played hunter for many years, its also one of the most boring iterations of BM since several expansions.
Okay, so it isn’t just me then. The spec is lacklustre.
Spot on. It has 4 buttons and all is instant. Suggest you get into survival as its just way better gameplay. Dont get me wrong BM is really good in arenas, better than survival but it just brings no satisfaction or skill involved.
