UPDATE:
Just in case someone reads this later.
After testing in the beta, I can confirm your pet does charge to your target first before dealing the Wild Thrash damage.
On the beta forum, players have said this wasn’t how it was working so I assume it was patched at some point.
Now, Wild Thrash works similar to Kill Command:
- 50 yd range
- Pet charges to target and executes the attack when it’s in melee range
- It can’t be used without a target
- It can’t be used if the target is out of range
- Pet will not move into range on it’s own if the target is out of range
- Unlike Kill Command, it does not start your auto attack when you use it.
Original Question:
Does anyone know if Wild Thrash, the pet skill that is replacing multi-shot to activate Beast Cleave, causes your pet to get in range of your target before activating or does it just activate immediately where ever they are?
I see on the tooltip that it has a 50yd range, just like Kill Command.
I’m hoping it does work like this instead of just activating where ever they happen to be but can anyone confirm?
