So as much as I have played hunter in the past, I have never played as BM.

Curious to know what are the best pvp/pve pets to run with?

I plan to use the same always, meaning hopefully they are good for both.

I read something about an undead raptor as one good one, but do you need a tome to be able to train it? Also, saw in a video Direhorns are good? I don’t like flying pets at all.

Lastly, do you get the skills of both pets? Meaning, it says it pulls one of the pets out of the 1st stable spot, do you still get its special? Example, if that stabled pet had blood lust, or mortal wounds even?

No, you only get your first pet abilities not the second one, i dont know wich pet is good for Pvp and wich is good for pve is the BL one or a spirit animal.

Spirit Beasts are just for posing.

All Hunter-Pets do basicly the same Damage.

In PVE, you want playing something with BL. (If no one other had BL)
For Solo Content, anytime a Clefthooves, its extream tanky and can also bring BL .

I am not a PVP Player right now, i mean spiders/scorpions here a good choice.
You can also google “Hunter PVP Guide” or visit IcyVains and read what here are recommended.

For PVP use pets that reduce healing done, to annoy healers and self heals.

  1. Cunning (removes movement impairs, suggested for pvp)
  • Hyena
  • Raptor
  • Rodent
  1. Ferocity (not advised)
  • Carrion Bird
  • Devilsaur
  • Ravanger
  • Scorpid
  • Wasp
  1. Tenacity (Extra defensive, if you are not sure you’ll live could be viable)
  • Direhorn
  • Hydra
  • Lizard
  • Riverboats

I’m guessing it doesn’t count as the ‘best’ option in pvp, but I have a massive weak spot for otters and ottuks come with gnaw (mortal wounds). I find the ability useful, and my ottuk adorable :slight_smile:

I like using Clefthooves in PVE, tanky ferocity pets with bloodlust. What’s not to like!

Not per-se. They’re good for m+ and raid (assuming your group doesn’t need you to BL) and they offer an extra defensive and the occasional heal.
