Body size/type customizations

Hi

since Blizzard is in damage control mode listening to so much player-feedback lately, I just wanted to take advantage of the situation revisit the topic of breast sliders body size customizations.

People who are afraid this game will be taken over by ERPers against it, usually point out that gear wouldn’t work. In which case I would like to point out that the game we’ve all switched to, FFXIV other current, modern MMOs manage perfectly by having only small differences between the min and max setting.

Personally I would very much love to have a big elf gf more options to this game by allowing costumizations of certain body features.

I laughed at the sly stab. But I also fully support the idea itself. Go kyrel \o/

You know FF14 don’t support all of that. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Even if is a more recent engine and make different form wow they didn’t managed to let you increase some body parts to not mess models or animations.

So change the way armor models interact with body types /shrug

Lets not invent excuses as to why this can’t happen because it clearly can when 3rd party mods have been doing it for years

If the same type of armor works on a gnome and a tauren then sliders should work just fine  But yes from me!

Not sure if its possible to program this into the game though but that’s on their end.

alone the fact that old expansion gear was meant to be used on old models, and that old gear works well on races that didn’t exist to that point (Pandaren, Worgen, Goblin etc) invalidates the gear vs model argument.

The main problem on FF14 wasn’t the gear neither on wow.

Was the animation, cause a oversized butt was clipping on things like seats, doors and so on.

To fix it they would need to implement physic on the model who would require a lot of resources from Dev team and from users PC to process all of that.

I’m not asking for anime proportions, I’m asking for a +/- 5% slider on various bodyparts to set tones.

Someone will want more… So maybe better not open the Pandora’s box.

Plus the way the character models exist on wow may not support that.
They use a sort of skeleton and I’m not sure if it can be changed dynamically Ingame based on slider values.

Big tidy goth gf has possibility to be back on menu?

Where do i sign?

I’d like even a basic version like the wildstar one

might be cool but it would probably cost us a raid tier

Gnome height slider!

What the actual? Lol

Do you really think that creating an option to modify body proportions would take up so much development time that several bosses can’t be made? Lmao

It doesn’t even have to be a “slider” with a smooth effect. Just a range of options would be fine. Since that’s how they deal with all the others things as well anyway.

Select body type 1 through 5/6/7/8 or so, and go have fun with your personalized character. All they would have to do is make a few more models for which they can largely use the current ones as a base and expand upon later.

Really, this isn’t something that can’t be done in reasonable time.
Not for 9.1.5 of course, but later in shadowlands or a next expansion absolutely

Eh the cultured choices are shortstacked gnomes and busty draenei.

Why not busty gnomes?

I would love this! I always wanted to play a Void/Blood Elf, but their bodies are just too thin it sometimes creeps me out a bit, it’s one of the reasons I stick with human.

Also just want to let you know that new Venthyr set (the one I’m using) makes your character’s bust seem much larger, you do whatever you want with that information.

Nah, no-one needs a fat elf. Hight, however, is another topic - we should be able to adjust it slightly.

Also, OT, please make more shorts for male characters!

Not fat, just average…Have you seen female Blood Elves? They look like they have been thrown into a jail cell where they have not been eating anything but only been drinking one glass of orange juice for last 10 years.
