Can someone explain to me how it seems understandable that a boe item you gonna keep for what 6 months? can cost a total of 5mil gold which is what 450€ in game time?

Can we increse the gold gained from tokens to 2 mil gold each? i mean gold is apperently not a thing in wow anymore?

I remember back in WotLK where change talents cost 1000g which were a lot of money for many people - today we roll in the guild for 400k without even blinking - its 40€ we just roll about 100 times a months? like wtf?

Because people have accumulated immense amounts of gold and have nothing to spend it on. Raiders make massive amounts of gold through in game boost communities, which are fine within wow’s ToS, or through their guild’s own connections (Especially once you have mythic on farm).

Most multi million listings for BoE’s are less to actually sell it at that price though, and more advertising that the item exists and is up for negotiation. Only the super premium items are really worth millions or more (Severe / Masterful rings, 475 infinite stars / TD Rank 3)

Back in WoD i was selling some mythic raiding boes for 400-600k which was like 16-24 months of game time (back then 1 month was 25k ) so 320-480 euro in balance and it were just boes without amazing game changing effects like TD .

so you can say that irl price is pretty stable.

Because people have played, and accumulated gold for 15 years now.
Some players sit around with 50mil gold.
While this sucks for people who’s never played the gold game, and only have a few 100k.
It is what it is. If people wanna pay that price, then why wouldn’t people sell em for that?

you dont even have to do that.

i play very limited amount of time . and even then i passively made nearly 1 mln from just playing my alts casualy . it just adds up with time. stuff like emisary rewards , etc etc - and reps were so easy to earn with aplicaton and sending followers on missions.

all you have to do is not spend that gold on stupid stuff like 300k frogs etc.

Fair enough, most of my gold is spent on consumables for M+, so no idea what i make… need to start boosting to make some gold :stuck_out_tongue:

But my point stands, some people have insane amounts of gold, and therefore the price rises on everything.

When you just play 1 char M+ you severly lose gold on a lot of consumables. I had to level up some other chars for farming herbs so i was able to make my own flasks for example. But i burn easy a couple of 1000 gold per M+ session. It is not that the gold is going up without putting effort in other gold making things.

if you choose to play hardcore way dont complain about it.

ye can always play casualy - do a bit lower mythic + keys and dont use consumables.

  2. This hardcore way of playing got me to 1.5M gold in legion. While in BFA i got almost bankrupt.

  3. I am not going to play less because my gold goes down. I want to have more fun, not less.
