I don’t like it either but at least everything is relatively close together. Some friends love it because it represents a proper D&D town/city, apparently.
Boralus is actually amazing. Never had any problems navigating around.
The entrance to the new raid is probably the most convenient entrance in the game.
Everything from inn-scrapper-trainers to ship and portals are within seconds on a mount.
It has the style of an actual human harbor but that is a personal taste I guess. The plank to jump from the ladder straight to the 7th legion emissary was indeed good addition.
Is never had issues stucking anywhere and draenei are the 2nd tallest race after trolls…
If someone really wants to find something somewhat negative is the BMAH placement but meh… No big deal…
I like it
that is where I usualy get stuck, I jump or well fail at it lol, and get stuck under the stairs lol, but as I said earlier totaly my own fault.
We have a black market AH?
Edit: Oh ok…it’s not even in the city…
I love Boralus. It’s one of the first cities where I don’t have trouble finding things. The barber is in a weird location though. I did have to google that one.
You can always ask the guards . They’ll put a marker on your minimap, it’s how I found half of the npc’s in dazar’alor
Gates on roads are so tiny that most mounts besides horses do not fit under them. If you fall into the water you got to swim a pretty long time. The ramp near the Alliance boat gets me stuck atleast 1 time per day. You miss the jump you need to make to get there and then you get boxed in between the wall and the ramp and the boxes underneath it.
Dazal’alor is a big place with too much space. Wich is why the horde complains but on average it feels much morelike a capital. While boralus is cramped and too tiny for most mounts. Most wooden walkways and gates are not meant to walk on with mounts
Notice how you said I a lot ? May be a you problem, cause I don’t have a problem with it at all.
Dazar’Alor is a fantastic City imo. You can use the Pa’ku totems to fly around the place to pretty much anywhere and it’s a paradise for Demon Hunters.
It’s way better than lil’ol’cramped shanty town Boralus.
I had a look around Boralus when you could ghost walk it during the incursion and it’s a dump.
Stinks of fish too.
Now, here’s a guy (Oldmanzhu) with a factual answer. Everybody else? “it’s beautiuful”, “I like it” “dazar’alor is worse or too big”.
Thanks for the reply!
I have no idea where some of you guys got their driving licenses at. For me aside from missing the ledge once a day I have no problem.
If you feel a little clumsy at controls then I would suggest stopping more often, turn, shift gear and accelerate.
don’t get me wrong i do like boralus. But people saying only dazal alor is bad because you need to travel alot is wrong
Its not about the harbor in boralus its about the tiny wooden bridges that dont fit mounts outside of the harbor
This is the reply I was referring to as a factual response. I agree with everything
You mean like downtown, like where the pvp vendor is at etc?
Only a fool would complain about Boralus; beautifully designed, wonderfully compact; everywhere is right where you’d need it, and the only major issue, which was getting to the boat, is now remedied thanks to the simple addition of some planks and the removal of a tiny bit of fence.
Now, Dazar’alor on the other hand…
I never think to ask the guards for some reason. It’s like I forget they exist.
It’s not factual in the way you’re trying to portray it (ie someone else agrees with you therefore you must be right) - it’s personal experience. I’ve had absolutely zero problem in Boralus……even before they put in the new half planks etc. Many agree with me therefore I must be right…no?
So it’s not actually factual, you just agree with it. Those are 2 different things.
It’s bringing up arguments! Not like most who are emotionally responding! So it’s argumental maybe?
