Half the time I’m out of range trying to not get inhaled and waiting for the boss to come back up… This fight is so annoying with this much downtime. We doing anything wrong?
Just have everyone stack in melee to bait the zones there so you hit during inhale. Saves a lot of boss time.

And what about the waiting for the boss to come back up? Are we supposed to keep the adds alive so he doesn’t dive?
He’ll dive even if you kill adds so just kill them. He usually stays down for just a couple of seconds, any DOT on the boss will tick damage where he’s gonna appear if you have scrolling combat text on.
Hunter mark will also appear before he does in new location, blood plague shows as a small ball above the place too.

Yes. Your ranged need to put puddle close to Boss not in middle of room so melee can dps.
Second this! As only ranged (mostly ppl are monks, warriors in pugs I join) I was asked to do this. It’s pretty good though just can be hard to find the sweet spot
