I feel like the drop rate for loot is very low on bonus rolls. You guys know percentages?
13 bonus roll 1 item > likely a 10%>
Some people are lucky some other aren’t …rng
I don’t think it’s 10% that would be too low. That means around 20% of an extra item a week
I don’t think there’s an actual percentage known to us at least. In patch 5.3.0 added bad luck streak protection to bonus rolls. The bad luck doesn’t reset till you get an actual piece of loot.
Well 1st week on this patch was at 7th boss /7th coins used and was a cloack i had my 1st item . after that i had 0/6 again with no item …
So likely is 1/13 something like 10%>
I’ve never went 6 or 7 weeks with only artifactpower bonus rolls.
You don’t have enough data there to back up your percentage claim seeing as it could’ve just been your bad luck. I’ve gotten bonus loot multiple times on coins, even back to back, but that doesn’t mean the percentage is 100%.
Not sure, but I always thought that it was the same as the normal chance of an item dropping.
Aaaaand what’s that drop chance?
1 item/5 persons in raid, so 20%.
thamks you
yw, but keep in mind that it’s just my opinion - I have no hard data to confirm it.

Actually it seems there’s some kind of BLP according to wowpedia:
“While the odds of receiving an item on the first bonus roll are the same as the kill, whenever the player receives gold the odds of receiving an item on subsequent bonus rolls are slightly increased until the player receives an item, at which point it resets to the normal rate.”

so pretty much a casino for kids?
There is it was added in MoP. They’ve not given out chances though.
Which was also stated in my first post

The bonus roll likes to mostly treat me to AP. Occasionally a piece of loot I don’t want. On very rare occasions I get something useful.
From my own experience raiding:
Norm every week on 6 toons, HC every week on 3 toons and an odd lfr now and then when bored, drop rates have definitely been tweaked on the negative side in BFA, which goes along with all the other obvious changes like the weekly reduction of coins you can have and purchase, and no doubt tons of non obvious changes and non documented changes in BFA all with the very deliberate goal of Blizz to make players play more and keep there subbs running longer.
For Blizz these days its ALL about the money and how to squeeze as much as possible from the players without them really noticing to much, everything is just ‘bait’ and keep playing like Zandalari Trolls…soon, been ‘soon’ for 6 months now, LMAO
I was after this Harness from those hounds in Antorus, never got the chance to drop it even with bonus roll. I tried changing loot spec, and it dropped at first try, even if it was listed as a drop for my previous spec. Not saying it’s law, but maybe it could help? Also, the more bonus rolls you do without equipment, the more chances you have thanks to that bad luck protection.
The problem is that it resets on useless gear too, of course
They should perhaps just make bonus rolls 100% chance of ONE item from the loot table, but decrease only to purchase one per week, stack up to 3 and one would have the same cost as the current second purchased seal.
Then again this wont happen because this would make people happier and Activision Blizzard doesn’t want that now do they?
Ahem, in that logic you would have a 100% chance when you would be able to roll 10 times. You have 10% chance for every single roll.
