Bonuses from Warmode in Shadowlands

Hello,
do somebody know if they will boost bonuses from Warmode in Shadowlands? Now they are really useless. For example 20% more AP is nothing, War Resources are useless even with or without warmode on, because we all got lots of these resources already and who cares about 20% gold rewards when gold are practically worthless and you can go do some legacy raids and get as much gold as you want?

My suggestion to make Alliance players turn on their warmodes on is to boost reputation gains by 20% too. This would be really good and appreciated thing to make world PvP healthy and good again.
On my server there you can’t find player with warmode on, because why they would to turn it on? Basically no reason to do that.
Looks like Blizzard really don’t care about PvP and most likely they still gonna hold this position in future. To be honestly, they can’t just simply “remove” PvP from game, so they created Warmode, lol.

I’m assuming since we need to collect anima in shadowlands there will be some bonus anima rewards on certain quests but they said it wont be like grinding AP so it could be just bonus reputation and/or gold.

If this would make Alliance more gung-ho that’ll be nice.

If there is a bonus for Anima, I will be WM on. I haven’t seen any specific information yet but they seem to like the carrot on a stick method to get people to play certain ways. I am a donkey, I had WM on purely for the AP bonus this time.

Why on earth we are always grinding 'A’s? I mean, in WoD we had Apexis Crystals, in Legion, Artifact Knowledge, BfA we have Artifact Powers and in Shadowlands we are grinding Anima.

Darn pve’ers. If they want to encourage pve in wm, at least balance it by only enabling the bonus after killing an enemy player. They do that in naz battle to prevent leeching, so it’s not a big leap for wm in general.

I don’t really think that was a good solution. Everyone just opens up a listing and every flocks in to the shards that do have the event.

Ye, but in principle, the having to kill a minimum of one enemy player in order to receive the battle reward is good imo. Regardless of feelings on event itself.

They could easily apply this to the war mode bonus. Gotta kill one player on zone entry to receive bonus. Works because you only need bonus if took part in wpvp anyway.

A better solution to the pve’er problem imo, than other suggestions like drop the bonus. I don’t mind pve’ers in wm, but I know others do.

Orly it’s to do with kills? I thought it was to do with balance in shards. Like the shards I end up in are nearly all Horde dominated so we rarely see an Alliance, let alone get to see the event. But as soon as those Captains spawn we all go on groupfinder and join a shard that does have them. Which is presumably why they are now making the spawn independently from each other.

I will have to dig through the announcement of the change to double check.

We’ve heard your feedback (and experienced it ourselves) – there can be lopsided faction representation during the “Battle for Nazjatar” event. We’ve seen cases where only one faction is represented.

To address this, we’ve now changed it via hotfix so the “Battle for Nazjatar” will only become active when Nazjatar has a good mix of both Horde and Alliance players in War Mode. When that is not the case, an alternative event will become active called “Azshara’s Elite Commanders.” This is also available to players who are not in War Mode, and it also awards Nazjatar Battle Commendations for slaying Elite commanders during the event.

We’re continuing to monitor and investigate reports of server lag during the event, and we’re acting on feedback about significantly imbalanced areas. We’ll let you know as we make further changes.

I just mean after battle starts, you get a debuff that prevents you getting a reward if your faction wins. Killing one enemy player removes the debuff.

The problem with that is, I am WM on but it’s not my fault if there are no Alliance in my shard. If I needed to kill people in order to get the benefits then I’m fine with that, but if there are no Alliance to kill then it’s not my fault.

It would be yet another buff to Alliance WM bonus which is already at least double that of the Horde.

To me , having bonuses to WM is completely lame.

WarMode basically created since they removed PvP realms so it was the option to merge PvPers from every single realm using shards.

I cant recall having any bonus when you were playin in a PvP realm so imo they need to remove it.

I wish they would remove flying from those who had WN on to make the world more alive since its also braindead to chase people with AWP net weapon and trying to dismount them meanwhile they fly away and vanish into different shard.

Ye but it’s not a problem, because you only need bonus if wpvp happens. It’s intended to compensate the extra gy walks. No wpvp means no compensation required because no time lost.

Instead of a 0 kills debuff per zone, could make it per login or something. Would apply to alliance too ofc.

Bonus would be earned, in a simple way, that should eliminate the biggest wpvp non participants, but still encourage those that pve+pvp.

That’s over simplified. If you are going to do that then you have to allow us to be on shards with Alliance on it.

Just like when I do my CTA every week I have to hunt to find someone on a shard where Alliance actually exist.

Yup, allow the debuff to be removed by a kill in any end content zone for your current login.

Cta is almost impossible for alliance in tiragarde, gotta do quests like that during an assault.

There needs to be…

  1. A requirement of some sort be met, like a kill, in order to receive bonus. Still encourages pve’ers to wm on, but eliminates pure pve’ers.
  2. More Alliance and/or less Horde in wm. Alliance still are not in wm enough, but prev point could help reduce Horde pure pve’ers, reducing Horde single faction overflow shards, improving shard balance, and more wpvp.
