Hey just wondering if anyone can give me some tips for boomie rotation and play style. Bear in mind I’m only level 47 or 48 atm. Also, I notice my Starfires are instant sometimes but no idea how to tell when they are. I have the standard weak aura but just because it’s highlighted, doesn’t mean it’s instant so if anyone could let me know a weak aura that tells me when I have an instant prov that would be sweet. Thanks.
I would also like some advice for rotations.
Have currently gone with the Stellar flare route. Is that good?
Is wrath only used to start lunar eclipses?
As for the instant Starfires that’s the 15% chance you get from being in Moonkin Form and the buff is called Moonkin Frenzy plus that you get a visual cue above your character in form of a purple starstreak. The highlights of Wrath and Starfire comes from either them being powered by an eclipse or through the talent Umbral Embrace.

just a quick edit: It’s “Owlkin Frenzy” not Moonkin 
Press Convoke and you’re a happy bird. Have it on cooldown and play like a chicken.
If in trouble, become a 
and frenzied regen.
Use Cyclone often, its your best friend, specially with the PvP talent making it faster.
Save Starsurges for when youre in an Eclipse usually. You do a lot more damage.

Also remember that you need to apply to moonfire+sunfire before doign starsurge or convoke, since the new mastery system gives a massive damage boost to enemies afflicted with those dots.
Or looking at it the other way…you will not do much dmg to enemies not afflicted by moon/sunfire.
And be aware we have no real dispel protection for our dots so its very easy to cancel most of boomkin dmg in pvp by jsut throwing out a dispel.

I think balance druid is gonna be very weak for pvp in DF considering all our dmg relies on having both dots up constantly, and that 1 dispel will remove them both. (and no dispel protection, unlike warlock and spriest)
I would suggest finding another spec or class if you want to pvp in DF.
Yeah I already switched even before your first reply actually 
Thing is we are so easy to shut down our dmg yet we still even with that do low dmg compared to other classes on similar ilvl… Plus the eclipse mechanic making it even more clunky…
