what is the best way to approach a good dps output? usually i put the 2 dots (sunfire/moonfire) on and spam wrath until something procs. then i spam that skill until its over.
is new moon any good? when do i use that.
it always feels a bit slow. my cat feels more intense
maintain dots, use filler spells (wrath and Starfire) to build asteral power, then blow asteral power on your big hitting single target (starsurge) or aoe (starfall) in a nutshell.
you have 2 ‘eclipse’ cycles (lunar and solar) lunar is aoe solar is single target (in general, theres more to them if u check the tooltip) your goal is to move from one buff to the other buff then back:
you basically have to go from one eclipse to another. easiest way to start it off: moonfire, sunfire, 2 x wrath would put you then into a ‘buff’ called ‘lunar eclipse’ that empowers your starfire and arcane damage, so you spam starfire (and asteral power so you dont cap) until the buff wears off.
Then alternate, so when the buff drops, you’d do 2 x starfire which would put you into solar ecplipse, empowering your wraths damage and speed, so you spam wrath. maintain your dots throughout, dump asteral power where needed, rinse and repeat
your celestial alignment activates both eclipses at the same time and granting you haste for 20 sec, so go wild XD
(also starfall only effects targets you have put your dots on, so dont panic like i first did with the changes when you see a HUGE aoe circle XD
in term’s of new moon im eager to try it out but not sure on how its performing etc, not looked. my guess would be to slot it in starting wherever you can as quick as possible in an eclipse cycle, due to it being asteral damage ( a mix of nature and arcane so it works in either eclipse, same as starsurge) but someone may know more and correct me, im only spouting basics as i dont play my druid atm.
