Boost advertising in group finder

I would like to point out with the growing problem of people who advertise in group finder boosts, just today i reported 7 groups clicked refresh and 3x new poped out from the same site and groups.I relog to a different character again same result.
The Dungeon tool section is filled with those adds and same story with the Raid tool.It is apparent they use throw away accounts or pay other people to promote/advertise there sites,in the process breaking the ToS rules.
What is worse is that i noticed nothing is been done regarding this and that the report feature does nothing but temporary ignore to you that group listing untill you log out.

Lol now boosting players for gold is violation of game rules?

This is already the case. You can only list instances that the character is appropriately levelled for.

Not what i said.I said advertising in certain places,that breaks game rules.Even with the change from May;

The Advertising report feature…i see nothing be done as a result.

It is not.

It is filling the LFG tools with groups that are purely there for advertising.

No, you can boost for gold all you want, but it is against ToS to advertise in LFG.

Look at LFG for raiding , at least 15-20 groups are just boosts (and not only for gold of course , most are for real money) , unbelievable that Activision is so inactive about it to be honest but I’m not surprised

On just what volume we are speaking here,1/4 of the 10+ is WTS boost in group finder.

gold boosts are very welcome.
more tokens for blizzard.

report function sends a email to the trash folder of blizzard. It just removes the ad from lfg FOR YOU, not for others though.
Would be nice if they would bann the ad after 20 reports completely or something if they don’t have gms to deal with it and need to automate it.

IF blizzard made stuff achievable for every player, then maybe there wouldn’t be a market for these boosts, but apparently, you need to do 12 different dungeons on mythic +15 in time, that’s a bit hardcore for most people, as long as stuff like this remains, boost groups will thrive.

this is probably the most dumb comment I’ve read about this. My eyes are bleeding.

And that is why exactly?

why would blizz make all levels of content accessible to everyone? If that would be the case the game would be really easy and would die really fast as it would bore a large portion of the playerbase.

Be it as you want, don’t complain about boosts then, there’s an immense market for that stuff, as you might see in trade or in the finder too lately.

Blizzard doesn’t care. Even a portion of playerbase wants it.

At this point, there’s no reason to even bother.

Im not complaining, in fact I’m part of a boosting community myself and earn tons of gold. I merely pointed out that your suggestion is stupid.

This is not something we should be Ok with it.Guilds are dying out because new players dont see why they should join a guild if they can pay someone to do the content for them,on top of that from what i’ve posted people are listing it in places they are not allowed. It’s quite intrusive behavior.
We need more GM’s,better oversight in the game.

There are a lot of things wrong with boosting.

But when blizzard allows it, even after so much complaints, it’s pointless to bother.

Wow is basically the only game i know where you can buy your way through every single end game content without breaking ANY RULES from the game.

But i guess money doesn’t just come from subs. It comes from boosts and token purchases.

Ive honestly never notice this apparent overload of boost groups. Dunno if im just never on when they are or I just ignore them
