Boost from new wow account

Hey! Was thinking of boosting a char by buying a new wow game and making a new wow account under my blizz account then using the boost on my main wow account. According to google this has previously worked. Does it work now or was it patched?

No idea if this is allowed

It is. You can have up to eight wow accounts on your Blizzard Account. BfA is also the last expansion where you can boost your characters with additional game licences.

They stop offering this “bonus” because how many people skipped the leveling process the past years and simply bought for 10-15 Euros a license/boost which usually costs 60 Euros.

You cannot use a boost from shadowlands on another warcraft account.

Not sure about the BfA one. I’ll check as I have one on another blizzard account

Edit: the BfA one can be used on any warcraft account.

Thanks a lot Dottie and Leafkettle!

I believe they’ve now stopped boosts being battlenet wide, it’s per wow account.

I will have to reread the update and post it when I find it.

The 120 boost is limited to a Warcraft account but a 110 boost is blizzard account wide. Unless every Warcraft account on my spare blizzard account has one. I don’t want to use it to find out.
