I’m wondering if anyone here boosted a char on a locked server?
I play on firemaw, and have been playing on firemaw for a long time.
In Wotlk I’ve decided to main my rogue for the guild.
I started leveling my rogue from 60 on another server (since it’s an old char from classic vanilla) and was planning on transferring it over this week.
But the servers locked up and apparently I can’t transfer chars there even tho I have my other chars there.
The weird thing is, I can still make new chars on firemaw. So I’m trying to figure out if I should just level a new one 1-70 or if I should wait and hope the 70 boosts work on locked server.
So, anyone know if it’s possible to use the boosts on pre existing characters on locked realms?
The lvl 70 boost should worked on a locked server if you have allready a char on Firemaw on that account. But you have also enough time to buy the lvl 58 boost meanwhile and get the rogue to lvl 70 before prepatch.
I think blizz is trying to prevent players from gathering resources from low pop realms and bringing them to high pop realms. the only reason i can think of for them not allowing you to xfer your toon to firemaw, even though you have toons there. sadly, lots of people have abused the system in this way =( you can make new toons because you already have some made on the server.
yeah, if you already have characters on firemaw you should be able to use blizz boost on firemaw server. just can’t use it on other server then come here to firemaw hehe at the end of the day, we can thank all the players who exploit the system…they ruined the game for folks that want to play and have fun with their friends/guildies.
