Blizzard, do you guys even look at your own game? This is getting out of hand and needs action now! When I open up the LFG system I don’t want to be greeted with half of the posts from bots and throw away accounts advertising their RMT websites and boosting community’s trying to sell boosts also.
This is just the first page! there’s double this if I scroll down further and this is the norm…anytime of day, no matter the day it’s the same crap and even if we spam report them all, we hit refresh and oh look, we can still see the same adverts!
This is supposed to be against the ToS but as far as I can tell you just turn a blind to it because WoW Token and it’s money in your pocket.
It’s time to take action and actually give these guys a meaningful ban that’s not just a 24 hour silence after months of people reporting them!
Edit: before the comment comes in that I typed in “wts” yes I did, and what? There shouldn’t be a single one of these types of groups being advertised and the amount shown is just the tip on the iceberg.
I shouldn’t have to wade through 15+ of these group postings to find a real person in a real pug.
Guild recruitment ads are showing up now as well. This is a new one for me as i never noticed them before.
Twitch streamers are looking to pad thir weekly income with their ads now as well.
People are also startign in the mornings placing ads for that evenings raid if they need a dps or such.
The amount of ads is totally and utterly out of control.
I am using the addon to block them all but i know there are dozens and dozens of these ads.
This is also one of the reason i am leaving now for good when my time expires in 2 months. Even if they do remove the ads i am still leaving.
Thsi game has now become a pay to win ad fest with blizzard directly gaining, financially, from token sales so they are in bed with them. Hence no removal of said groups for years. They make money.
No more money from me. If i get AOTC great. If not then still bye bye pay to win ads fest.
EDIT… the recent ban wave in china is only so they are seen to be doing something and nothing else. Or they would have done ban waves to the horde as well. Did they? No. So what does that tell you. Create an uproar and you get some action. But only then. So for now you are all just cash cows wating to be milked.
