Boosted character - how do I know?

hey all,
I’m raising a few alts for the heritage set. I have a BE stuck at level 100, and am not sure if it’s been boosted or not. I have made so many transfers, changes etc. in the past that i don’t know anymore which chars are untouched and which are not. The transaction list under my profile aren’t helping either - the descr just says things like '‘race change’ or ‘name change’ but does not specify the char.

I know that 100 to 110 isn’t a long shot nowadays with heirlooms rested xp elixir of whatever etc. but I’ve already done it so many times and the idea of doing it again just to discover I’m on a boosted char and have to redo 0-110 is frankly freightening.

TL;DR is there a way to know if one of my chars has been boosted or not?

ty!

I guess by looking at his gear ? If it’s a whole set of specific blue items, it surely was boosted.

Check reps maybe? I guess if it was boosted there will be very limited amount of factions encountered and achievments done.

I can’t help you with finding out which characters you boosted, but if you’re concerned about your Blood Elf, for non-allied races, you only need to be max lvl + exalted with race capital - so you can unlock the heritage armor for them even if they were boosted. I think it works that way specificly for non allied races.

No boost rule only applies to Allied Races mate. You don’t have to worry about it for Core Races. All you need is exalted reputation and level 120(doesn’t matter how you get there).

But if you realy wanna know if character was boosted or not just message support, they can check it out. Still it doesn’t matter for Blood Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes and Tauren.

Wait they dont? I have a boosted blood elf, guess i need to go to org now

Reps and gear mostly and achievements. Or ticket blizzard as an ultimatum.

All good ideas. If you character is wearing Blues (or is it Greens?) with all the same name, which is the name of gear given to a boosted character, you have your answer. But ofc you may have replaced that gear with heirlooms.

If the character is wearing a motley of gear, rings and trinks anc glives from Draenor, then you quested or dungeoned through there, so not boosted.

If you look at your achievements while on the character in question, you may see dungeons and quests done because of the removal of individual character achievements, but if you hover over the plaque on the right of the achievement, you may see “Completed by not completed by ”. That will tell you whethe this character did the levelling content.

Yup. It’s pretty much impossible to get through levelling without having bits of rep with various factions along the way.

But as Lyrandriel and Ryugal and Cedrad said, it doesn’t matter for BEs anyhow.

All old races(like bloodelves) just need to be max level and their home racial city at exalted. It can be boosted from 1-120 and it won’t matter, you’ll still get the heritage armor.

open a support ticket and ask them

simple, look at quests from classic/TBC/WotLK zones, no quests then they are boosted from level 1.

Exactly what I was about to suggest.

Achievement logs don’t lie. If you don’t have a single zone achieve from an old zone, then it was a boost.
