Weren’t we supposed to be banning people who post these boosting advertisements? LFG is absolutely full of them…
I just simply report them for advertisement and they will disappear from the list 
I’ve been reporting them also but they seem to grow exponentially, clearly they aren’t being banned for this. Check LFG right now - it’s 50% boost advertisements.

it’s not against the rules to boost, which means the “report” button is actually just a “hide from me” button.
man, I’m so glad blizzard added the authenticator requirement to combat the spam. another job well done
Organized boosting communities are bannable, supposedly. But also it’s against the rules to advertise any kind of boosting/selling services in LFG, you’re supposed to use tradechat for that.
Blizzard needs to fix this, I really cba having to scroll through mountains of advertisements in LFG when I’m just searching for a group, just ban these people.

there are several boosting communities in the “communities” tab inside WoW with 900+ members lol. and the top guilds did tons of it as well to pay back their loansharks.
but yeah, I can understand that the advertising part in LFG isn’t allowed but then why is it there…
and if they are indeed banning people for spamming then just how many authenticated accounts do those guys have?
Its forbidden to advertise in LFG. You are allowed to advertise in /trade only.
They are forbidden to operate in the way they did before. Which they dont do anymore. Anyone that expected them not to adapt is simply put naive given they’ve done that.
Which isnt a boosting community. Its a guild doing boosts as a guild. Echo/Limit/Method/Etc dont need a community to get their buyers. Only thing they needed were loansharks.
You can bypass it. We already said this when they announced the authenticator update.

It has become more annoying lately, I agree.
It seems that they leveled and authenticated expendable accounts and are now spamming the lfg tool.
Feels bad.
I report but every day new ones appear.

It is against the TOS to advertise in LFG-tool but not in /2 trade chat.
thye only ban people for commenting negativley on zereth mortis in /general and who use interupt announcing addons aparently
if you are a booster you can spam as much as you want

Can something be done about this crap? I’m literally so sick of having to scroll through pages upon pages of advertisements when searching for a group.
This stuff is against the rules, just permanently ban them. Why is nothing being done?
at least post screen i see nothing max 1-2 groups from 3rd party site.
I can’t include links on my post for some reason, but I assure you that at least 1/3 groups listed under Raids - Shadowlands on Horde are boosting advertisements, if you have a level 60 horde character you can check it yourself.

Alliance in raid there was like 15-25 wts advertisemnets, 0 for dungeons.
Horde 3 raid advertisements and like 1 for dungeons.
Strange .
