Title. Who am i to lvl up normally though quests, earning gold though gathering (cleared by bots), looking for hours for HC, etc.
What an abuse of economy.
Such classic experience everyone wanted right?
It’s so much fun trying to find a dungeon and completely getting overshadowed by boosters ![]()
This is nothing. Imagine pp bots in wotlk.
And again not a single word about bots.
They simply dont care.
When I first started playing TBC, I said in lfg ’ lvl 35 healer lfg for dungeons’
all the dm’s I got were along the lines of ’ buy gold and do boosts, nobody runs low level dungeons’. When I asked (lfg channel) how new players have gold for those boosts, tons of players blatantly said in that global channel: buy gold. Pretty off putting and discouraging for sure. I don’t get how people get pleasure from exploiting the game to pieces nor do I enjoy this experience. As long as Blizzard enables these behaviors, it will be here to stay and ruin the game just as it did retail.
Just buy gold? ![]()
Just kidding, Banhammer them!
Average new player experience (intended hyperbole):
Buys 58 Boost from blizzard (which is fine on its own)
=> Realizes that their gear is really bad and they do almost no damage.
=> Swipes credit card and buys gold to buy a boost, then buys gold for flying and preraid bis.
=> At 70 tries to raid normally at first and only sees Gdkp spam in chat, gets declinded to normal groups, bc not tier 6, and doesn’t wanna make their own groups, because they know nobody.
=> Buys gold again to join Gdkp at least.
=> Gets banned for RMT after 5 months in wotlk prepatch.
I know blizzard is busy with the new 9.2.5 and 10.0 patch, but there’s no way this is the intended tbc experience, or even anything close to it. ![]()
We are what 3 years+ into Classic now? Blizzard is never fixing the bot problem, they make millions from bots, literally millions.
