Experience. You forget that we are talking about players who have wildly different ratings, counting those of mains. This is a dead takeaway of a boost, has always been. Sometimes it misfires, but not often.

Ah the classical argument. Well, seeing that you can not back up your claims in any way I consider this conversation pointless.
Here’s a simple secret to being always or pretty much always right:
When I don’t know something, I don’t state, I either listen or ask. When I manage to state something that I am not sure about, and this turns out to be wrong, I immediately say “erm, actually you are correct here, I made a mistake, sorry”.
Am I ever wrong? Sure, I am. But because I ask instead of stating or quickly admit my mistake, that accounts for maybe 2% of my posts. The remaining 98% are posts where I am actually right. If other folks did the same as myself, it’d all be even. They don’t, so it’s uneven.
Simple.
