Is boosting common in solo shuffle? Had 6 rounds and I found the games very fishy. When facing against this ret, with this resto sham on my team, the ret didn’t bubble at all. When ret was on my team with the resto sham, he bubbled and tried hard. So every time they played against each other, the ret didn’t bubble. Sham won 6 rounds at the end of that.
Does that sound like boosting?
Queue kept having decliners before I got into the game.
Had a game with a frost mage who, for the 3 rounds he was on my team just kited the entire game, didn’t do a single polymorph, didn’t use frozen orb, not a single Glacial spike, just kiting and spamming instant casts.
When he was on the other team, he came out like a bat of hell, carried the damage, and absolutely blew us away.
Had another game with a moonkin, when he was on my team just ran around in bear form soaking damage, didn’t cast, no solar beam, no cyclones, as soon as he was paired up with the other healer, active play, pumping damage, CCing.
Might be a coincidence if it happens once, but every game? In several shuffles when I’ve been surprised by burst and died without using turtle, I had whispers “reported!!” so it could be just bad luck
He used no BoP or Devine shields when playing vs the Sham. But used all bubbles when with the sham. I mean going from using no bubbles for a few rounds to using every one of them in the next 3 rounds, it’s definitely very questionable.
Indeed, that’s highly unlikely to be a coincidence. You must report them in-game though by right clicking on their frame and using the menu.
I tried reporting a scam once with a ticket, and the GM told me that only reporting during the shuffle works as that triggers logs of the games to be saved.
No. It’s a lot easier to pilot someone’s account (as someone else explained very well in another thread). Rather than sitting there spam declining 20minute queue ups.
Yes, boosting in solo shuffles happens, but it’s mostly very, very late at night, and it’s usually tanks who do it.
If someone is getting boosted in SS, it’s more likely someone is piloting their account, not win trading for rating.
The guys in the solo shuffle clearly did, and it’s obvious with the description I gave. Somehow the Ret remembered to use all bubbles, including other abilities, yet ran around like a chicken barely doing any damage when playing the Sham. Yeah right…
yes it is and it´s so frequent , maybee over 80% of the games imo are boosts . they go for the elite tmog . it´s nearly impossible to play atm . When you have the Que decliners before several times you can be Shure boosts are up . it´s a freaking mess and i telling this since mid season 2 where it comes up that bad. everyone maybee Milleniels buy boost as it seems and destroy the game for the others.
100 % and it´s more common as you think . when i join with 1 of my heals this happens atm at zero mmr fresh season . I quit Soloshuffle mid season 2 as i run into this boosts at 1600 mmr . with several chars droped to sometimes 300 at night when meeting 10 times this bought matches . any one knows how hard it is to get back to 1400 and higher after that ? not fun anymore . i have only 2100 xp offseason Sl to get elite tmog with some chars and i feel the deiffernece between real games and boostet stuff .
