Boosting... WHERE does it end?

Splendid.

Care to link a few of your posts regarding the issue?

No, I really cba looking through my 900+ post to satisfy you.

Then I am afraid the paid transfer cannot be used as an argment.

:sunglasses:

Wow Token? -> Good it will reduce the amount of botters cause their expenses will be higher then the gain.

Race change -> Good classic and tbc are different in specs and viablity of some specs, wich will make certain races be better. Also some would prefere to play the new race that came out.

Faction change -> Good, PvP servers are faction bound anyways so you can’t do that on those servers unless its your only character on that server. Its limited to pve and rp servers. Since wPvP is optional there anyways it doesn’t really matter wich faction you belong to. Let them play the faction that they want.

70 boost? -> won’t happen, 68 boost will happen when classic WOTLK is announced though.

Attunement boost -> won’t happen, but there are already progressive things in tbc itself that will make attunements easier. Lower requirements for heroic keys, instead of 1 person per raid, the entire raid gets attuned etc.

Buying Tier sets -> the community already does this with filthy GDKP runs. (Wow Token)

Companions in game -> there called guildies and friends, you should try it!

Zebra/Rocket mounts -> most likely you’ll be able to reclaim these if you have them on retail (if you talk about the Recruit a friend mount)

Max arena boost -> this will happen by the community already (Wow Token)

Buy heroic dungeon keys -> for a lot of the reputation you can buy and turn in items already (Wow Token)

Instant professions 1-375 -> also still just a matter of gold (Wow Token)

Disclaimer: I’m FOR WoW Token to arrive in the cash shop. I rather see the company that created the game make money then some third party that bots or scams for its gold.

The company that created the game does not even exist like that anymore. It’s now Activision Blizzard and they are just milking the player base to the maximum. It’s getting close to scamming at this point. To me it makes no difference if the RL money goes to some china farmers/botters or Activision Blizzard because they are basically the same thing.
I don’t want to have any payed service in an MMROPG and trust me i have way more money to waste than the average player… It just ruins the integrity of the game. RL money should just not matter in a virtual fantasy world and i think players who buy gold have a small wiener.
Now if we go down that route where RL Money should rule the virtual economy in wow then why not let buy a complete server and make me the GM of this server? Come on Blizzard i have the money, i know you want it! Every Server could get sold to the highest bidder!

It’s funny to see people mainly against any form of P2Fast/Boost for the end-game content but are OK for everything else.

While their main argument for the boost is “I don’t want to do this part so being able to skip it is fine”

All the content from level 1 to killing Kil’Jaeden IS part of the content & matter.

Basically they don’t want the others to skip the content that matter for THEM but don’t want to bother with the content that doesn’t matter for THEM. Selfishness?

Other than the stupid 58 boost, nothing of what you are saying will happen in tbc. Maybe name change but nothing else.
Lmao calm down.

It’s absolutely outrageous for Blizzard to sell a one off boost to 58.

But I can sit all day in Stockades\SM\Mara\ZG paying people gold so I can skip the precious content, and that’s fine.

Only “pro boost” think that way. Both are bad.

I think faction/race/name change will in fact come later in tbc and I have no problem with that.
Token coming is… Troublesome. I can imagine them actually doing it, but I hope not.
The rest is just silly trolling.

We needed anther topic about this with the same beating a dead horse arguments why boost is a bad thing and then a straight jump to selling tier sets and arena sets. And everyone that doesn’t agree with you is a simp? ok boomer…

I wonder, if there are many people, against server transfer. I personally, can’t think of something negative about it. Changing name or race, yes. You shouldn’t be able to erase your bad reputation. But if you want to leave, go ahead.
And of course, playing with your real life friends, is a good reason to allow it.

Sad to read the low amount of constructive comments from the people who are heavily pro-boost. It also saddens me that people don’t realize that short term instant-grativication isn’t better for a game than long-term investments from players…

I think that alot of people shouldn’t forget 2 things:

  • Have a search about the downfall of blizzard on either YT or Google, and see the various statements about WHY everything turned down hill
  • Remember there was a REASON why the community was very much (over the top) #NoChanges, it was because everyone KNOWS activision blizzard.

It saddens me that you try to sell your personal opinion as facts. The original will never come back again… I lived it was happy I was there and enjoy my voyage through classic again. But I will use any conveniance that blizz offers me if I like it. I’m in it for the end game, not the levelling, been there done that a dozen times. I want to raid on 2 chars, arena on one and have some farmers and transmuters. And thats how I enjoy the game, I dont need anyone telling me why I shouldn’t enjoy something that is a conveniance and improves my game experience.

I don’t think this is the issue. I’m also poor in game, but have good income IRL. It wouldn’t affect me to much to spend few hundreds euro per month for game. But I don’t think it is healthy for game to be pay to win.

None of this is fine. Who said it is fine? You just made this up to insult people who don’t agree with boosts.

Can can you ‘prove’ something that hasn’t happened yet? All you can do is predict not prove.

Thus the ones asking for ‘proof’ that all those nasty things are in a future pipeline are never going to be satisfied.
