Boost is good because me me me me I do I do I don’t I don’t.
Boost is bad because me me me me I don’t I don’t I do I do.
All arguments are egoistical in the end. I don’t want pay to win in my game. For that matter I think one time boost to 58 fits my definition of pay to win. I think levelling is fun and intergral part of the game. I*fear that introduction of boost will lead down the slippery slope to introduction of other paid features that I don’t like.
Two can play this game buddy.
Prediction without formulation of numerical probability, based on comparison with events in another instance, is not definite proof.
People who are against boost talk about how it’s bad for the GAME, people who are pro boost talk about how it’s good for THEMSELVES.
See the difference?
No I do NOT. Boost is good for the game. It will allow newcomers to catch up to their friends who played classic. It will allow people to skip the boring, empty part of the game they already did many times before. It will allow end game players with little time to have a tailoring/alchemy alt, thus saturating the market with more cloth and primal might. Or druids and bringing more gathered mats.
I am 95% sure I won’t even buy the boost, I don’t much care for alts and only want to raid on my main character. I just think it brings more positives to the game. The only argument against it that is not emotional exaggeration is that it will allow bots to skip 2-3 weeks of automated farming before they enter outland. This is true, but there are bots regardless, their levelling speed has marginal effect on how much damage they do to the game. And frankly, this is a small price to pay for how many people will enjoy the game immensely more because of the boost. Or even come back to it at all because of it. Or even start for the first time.
May I ask why you are not in retail if you want the game to be like in retail?
Wow, what a way to flip the table.
They could add every retail features/services into the game and you would say the same thing.
You are the one coming into a game, knowing ahead how it would be and trying to change it to fit your needs.
Example : Going to play Counter Strike. I’m bad, not fun = i ask for an aim-assist.
Good/invested players are against it. But i’ll use your logic : “Don’t be selfish, don’t like it don’t use it, it won’t change your game experience, it’ll only help the new players blablabla”
Boosting ends when they think oh good everyone loves boost so we put in more cash shop. Anyone with a brain can see this is true. if u say not then you deluding yourself
As you can see in retail, wow token does not reduce botting.
I’ve said it before, right back at ya. The naysayers do exactly the same.
I don’t think anyone here has contradicted that. I’d be hard pushed to find a thread where people have claimed they have a crystal ball and seen the future. What we’re seeing is likely futures.
We finally agree on something.
Geat real…use your nr. 1 muscle ( brain ) Because it’s 20000% clear that you don’t bringing up these absurd points.
REALLY ???
One can wonder, are people this dense or what?
Do you see this in retail? Because retail cash shop got endless of possibilty to totally screw over your gameplay. RIGHT?
If no?
Move on and play the game the way you want it to be.
I have no words for it that wont get me perma banned from the forum.
NONE OF THESE THINGS WILL HAPPEND…EVER. THE END.
and if you ever…EVER even think about this might be a possibility: End your subsciption and never return.
I did no such thing, I never asked for a boost and don’t care almost at all whether it’s in or not. It does not affect me. I just don’t think it’s this horrible tragedy a couple of people here on this forum seem to make it out to be.
Just a mostly positive change that has some drawbacks.
even the game should be free by now,the content doesnt justify we pay 13 euro a month, but soon its free to play.everything thats happening now points to that.
From Madseason’s (shout-out) latest video:
“If they do the boost for new players , then why is it also accessible to the ppl who already have lvl 60 chars?”
Get’s you thinking nah?!
Imho the whole “classic” exp is a milking cow but hey look how many ppl got involved . I know for a fact a lot of ppl who are actually playing retail again after soooo many years (ok quarantine helped to that too)
The real prob for me is the lack of content really . Shadowlands is good (at least for my likes) but due to the lack of content I have been engaged with classic once more after 5 months I quit (cause ofc BFA was a sh@£&show) .
And here is the loop me and many ppl have gotten into . Or at least till I can go cycling again xD
Can’t blame a company that strives to make money so the CEO and the rest of the board can have an extra smthing smthing smthing k bonus .
Angry McAngry is very angry.
I said reduce, not get rid of it. The amount of botters in classic compared to retail is a lot higher.
I won’t say so :
In Classic there are few bots in some areas but i have never seen like 20+ bots running around.
It’s hard to tell in retail because of the permanent layering (or sharding?) and they are mostly “hide” in dungeon.
And what are you doing, if I may ask?
The one defining how the game will be, is Blizzard. The Anti-Boosters come here and want to change how it will be.
So, if they are allowed to do that, so is everyone else.
Really bad example, because an aimbot WOULD actually change other peoples game experience. Counterstrike is a game based on, among other things, the ability to aim.
WoW is not based on the ability to level a character, in fact there is no such ability…a simple algorithm can do that (hence there are bots). +99% of a capped characters time are spent at max-level.
