Yeah, it is.
But people at the start of classic called it a “retail” mentality.
Those things are assumtions and as someone who states:
should value the actualy causal reasons i.e. what has happend and what causes them.
You are 100% right, we know what has happend in the past and also kinda why. Ofc bad game design could be a factor too, but seeing that graph and the timings on new shopservices just blends too well together.
yea it is funny.
its was kinda a retail thing to do but in the end people in classic minmaxes way more. ^^
Yep, then they’ll call it the same in TBC lol.
100% Agree
Of course, for WoW it’s an assumption. But it hasn’t been for other MMORPGs. I agree on other shop services, such as the mount, though.
It won’t make the bot problem bigger
Yes it will. The boost makes gold farming way more profitable if you factor in bans and how long it takes bots to get back to the lucrative part of the game.
People calculated the difference between botting with boost vs without boost in terms of gold per hour and it’s staggering.
I think MadSeason talks about this in his recent boost video.
If it’s way more profitable then we’re guaranteed to have a much larger influx of gold farmers than before.
I dont care about boosting, i just wanted play tbc classic with original services.
There should be servers with no boost and others kokotinos.
then it’s simple, just but some fresh servers up.
Not really that simple, there are plenty of people who are against boost and want to continue to play thier classic chars into tbc.
The boosts will increase bot influx by 10 fold… They don’t risk getting banned while levelling. 58-70 is very quick, they won’t get noticed.
Blizzard need to actively ban bots in TBC unlike what they did in Classic where they only really did something when players reported the bot as they stated in a QA livestream on Twitch… Which in VERY CONCERNING
