What if they changed BoS to be baseline and made to be similar the new voidform? 1-2min CD and just blasts the frosty breath infront of you for a set amount of time say 10-15seconds with no RP cost? would be a nice baseline AoE for frost on a lowish CD thats less punishing than current BoS and honestly a more fun mechanic that battling the spec to keep it up like current BoS.

This will deffo be better than what we had all these years. Means it can free up that last talent row and add something new (and hopefully interesting) there.
They could combo it with blinding sleet or whatever its called
To be honest i don’t really like BOS simply for the reason is a pure spell and i whould rather have a new aoe melee skill . From my point of view, it fit more the frost dk spec “fantasy” to rely more on your weapons (empowered by magic) than a spell like a caster

is that the class fantasy though? because i have a greatly different opinion. cos remoreless winter (used by bolvar Lichking) is more a spell than weapon thing. even their lore suggests its magic given by the lichking. “Born of the frozen north, death knights can command the frost in their veins to freeze the hearts and minds of their enemies, or even turn the ground beneath their feet to ice.” and from what im aware, they use runemagic, which is aided by runeforged weapons, and are also made from necromancy magic which probs has something to do with their magic aswell. and aswell you’re playing a blood DK which blood magic was confirmed by one of the devs awhile ago to be the opposite of nature/life magic, nothing to do with a weapon thing.

Bolovas used indeed remorseless winter but if you remember was only to disorientate Sylvanas so he could hit her with the hammer.
if pure magic is the vast majority of our arsenal what is the point of the massive 2h or the plate? We are not frost mage or necromancer

Normally i like the Warrior/mage style but with BOS i feel is too much mage and not enough warrior.
well if we talk about class fantasy then i want throwing spiked iced mountain peaces at the enemies
oh and…that hammer hes wielding does it look like dual wield? maybe it is and he can just break it in half…you know to much steel…not anough grip
Or what if they REMOVE BoS so Obliterate and Frost Strike can do damage again?

id say we need more talents like chains of ice that we have in the talent tree long cd big damage like dragon and chains kinda sad we dont have that in glacial advance and avalanche heck even icecap should have this sort of thing added to its talent spell,
heck an execute like a rune strike 20 sec CD big damage buff oblit more big damage sort of things,
shame death knight dont have the theme hit hard and then even harder
