It became simply impossible to play due to the massive influx of bots. There is simply no way to farm resources - in each normal location there are 2-4 bots running around. And they stand out…
Thanks, Blizzard, for a good time!
Now I will think well before paying you again.
How come I make ±250-320 saronite ores and 20-30 titanium per hour (not farming seriously, watching videos and working mostly), and some people complain that they can’t do anything?
Yes, there are bots but they are (yet) not as many as you say.
I’m not asking you to teach me how to farm.
I focus on the problem of bots.
And there are a lot of them. Literally from October 24, there were noticeably more of them.
Every farming location on my realm has 2-4 online bots (from each fraction), running almost 24 hours a day.
Most of all it`s DK 58-60 lvl.
Bots are chinese.
Today their number has increased even more.
Do you message all of these “bots” btw cause sometimes I farm random stuff and can literally see people looking at me wondering if I’m a bot till I stop farming and say hi lol.
Yes and they dont answer ever. You can see the path they follow is a bot, their rotation is a bot. Full lvl 70 boe gear.
yap)
Also they have online almost 24/7 and have the same run route every circle, and stuck every time at the same place
They have basic DK equip and dont react on any communications with them.
You are probably botting.
Its so bad, that Blizzard didn
t ban those bots at a time, cause while we waiting, that bots can dropped the economics of the realm in 0…
All the time Mithril Ore was on auction in quantity of 100-120 positions, and 40-60 items of full stacks. The price was about 3,2-3,7g for 1 piece.
Now we have over 660 positions and above 500 of full stacks of ore. Prise is 2,4-2,7g per piece.
… Today is the 4th day of their botting…
I understand your pain, there are bots who simply floods AH with their resources to quickly farm gold and then these people sell this gold for money and in the end it breaks economy and not surprised Blizzard is not even bothering to do anything about it and probably they won’t.
Its not as bad on Golemagg because we’re a Locked server but non-locked servers are overloaded with bots.
I agree there are a ton of a bots and not much is being done (if any) to combat them, but I herbed for about an hour, 2 max, and I’m good on consumables for atleast the next month (not counting fish feasts). Herb nodes are everywhere, I can’t speak for mining. This is on Firemaw.
It’s the same with so many products. Look up Relics of Ulduar. On my server there’s this one guy who put up 3 pages of full 200x stacks of relics at 1/3 of the regular price overnight. Storm Peaks is full of dk bots, guildless and in AH gear. They farm relics and eternal air nonstop. It completely ruins the economy. You can’t compete with the botters and they mess up all the prices and hinder you from making money.
2 hours later:
The quantity of Mithril ore on auction is +30%
They farm mostly the most popular and needed ores.
Gems and stones are related.
naughty chinese bot makers! They need special operation as well so they will stop ruining our game!
Noone needs any “special operations”
But the problem exists. And I think Blizzard just needs to pay more attention to this problem and respond to it in time. And not to collect a list of bots and block them after 3 months, when all their (bots) work has long been done.
Oh, I see how it is, now people care or notice??? I’ve made 2 posts about this, 3 comments, no one gave a damn, now suddenly people do…
Too late! now I lost faith in all of you >:C
They won’t simply as that we can make there 1000 posts about it and nothing happens they will continue doing it.
No, I still have my faith in you my little friend!
Bots have been in WoW since it launched - it is simply not a drama
sometimes it worse than other times though.
When they brought out scroll of ressurection I remember a nonstop train of bots going into blood furnace. Like 500+ bots.
I checked Mograine Horde 2 weeks ago and they had over 350 DK bots in Blackrock Depths & Zul Farrak. This magnitude of botting has serious impacts.
