Bots in Vanilla Dungeons (VIDEO) Big problem! Blizzard, hello!

Its not about ban bots. You need go deeper.
Maybe track website where they selling bots and track gold seller on their website.
Dig into the data to see where the money went from here to there.

There is a lot of better solution than stupid ban bots if you can make hundreds new accounts.
Its possible to do it but but they must have an interest in it. Right now the have better interest from subs money.

I could probably ban like 90% of these bots if they hired me for 8 hours each day. I would ban the bots every day they tried logging in. The reason Blizzard will never hire me is because bots are profit to keep for a period.

Let’s assume the revenue from bot accounts is unwanted and unsolicited from Blizzard. So let’s assume that is surplus revenue that if they had the choice they would forfeit for the outcome of no bots.

Now let’s say blizzard had the desire to employee one person to physically check instances and look for bots. If they have a target to find 15 bots in one day and we assume salary and other costs associated with the employee run to a conservative high estimate of £150 a day, 5 days a week. 15 bots, 15 subs, covers the cost of £150 a day wages and costs.

/Who stratholme, quick look, job done. The task was so easy the target was reached in about 10 minutes.

This approach is blunt, lacks any need to change anything and can be scaled up to any size until they cannot find 15 bots a day each. The cost to blizzard would only be the revenue they took from bots in the first place.

We know they have no interest in this approach, not even using one single employee, because we see the same bots in the instances day after day, week after week. This is the most egregious point. Blizzard took all that revenue and refused to spend a single penny of it to ban bots in real time. They need to make sure the bot turns a profit, so that they can profit off the bots. The bots sub is blizzard’s cut of the RMT that Blizzard undeniably covertly endorses to increase their revenue stream.

No, the best solution is employ good programmers and fix LUA unlockers (they use code vulnerability to work). Without LUA unlocker only pixel bots will remain but they are less effective and able to do only fishing and gathering (not perfect) currently. And even if they can’t fully fix LUA unlocker, fix fly hack at least, how it can be possible in online game with server part???

Yes, there are many simple technical and non-technical solutions that can have a big impact on the bots and their ability to function.

The lack of action is intentional and is to give blizzard some plausible deniability of the fact that they want their games to be a pure pay to win, in-app-purchase style game.

They let the bots farm and sell the gold. The subscriptions from bot accounts is Blizzard’s cut.

Bot pays blizzard a sub
Bot farms gold
Players buys gold from bot
Player uses gold to buy mage boosts to level or gear in GDKP runs

Blizzard pretends it wanted to be virtuous and not have cash shop in classic.

… But those damn pesky bots just make it impossible guys! Oh well, here’s your character boosts and tokens. Get them straight from the horse’s mouth

Thanks blizzard… We know you tried your best.

imagine playing classic and using bot services, what a pathetic creatures.

They not playing.
They use blizzard incompetence to make their own easy money. Its just business for them.

They didn’t do anything with the bots, well done! Great job

These people don’t even “play”. They boost their twinks so they don’t have to play and they GDKP their gear so they are done in a few raid IDs and don’t have to play as much.

Well, Blizzard, will there be a reaction to bots in Stratholme, Zul’farrak, Dire Maul, or will your support continue to tell tales about reports?

time to wake up blizzturd

Will there be bans this year for bots or not, Blizzard? Helloooo

I think they are waiting and waiting to make a blue post with great success about banning over a million bot accounts.
Unfortunately, they somehow forget to say that these bots were farm for months before the ban them

Blizzard Helloooooooooooooooooo
WHAT ARE WE PAYING FOR ? You must protect us from this bot-sh-it !

As expected, Blizzard does not pay attention to bots in dungeons

Let’s not forget they sacked 800 employees, mostly GMs and support because the quality of the game doesn’t matter, only shareholder cuts do.

They’re running Blizzard into the ground, and in the end they won’t even answer to anyone. They’ll pick up their severance checks and proceed to the next company.

We idiots pay a monthly fee for this hobby because we love the game, but the owners don’t give a single f.

Dunno really what to do here…just venting.

same bots from this video still flyhacking into strat 24/7 lol nothing done

We idiots pay a monthly fee for this hobby because we love the game, but the owners don’t give a single f.

For my part, i’m looking forward to some “inofficial” projects. Not a fan of piracy but if the owners don’t care anymore, that’s what it is.

still the same bots logged in 24/7 for months
