So now the Bots have taken over the Auction House.
Have watched a “player” cancelling and relisting items Instantly and has been doing so all day without a break.
Sure Cancel/Relist is part of the auction game at the moment. But it is inhumane how quickly this “player” is relisting his auctions. Just not possible. You can list an item, then by the time you have done a search on the item, this “player” has already cancelled and relisted his items.
This is abuse of the economy and cheating and spoiling the enjoyment of the game for other players.
If there are thousands of flask for the same price in the AH, the one that was posted last is the first to get bought. So if you relist it continously it will be sold faster.
Flasks were just an example. This method works with every crafting mat and transmog. If you don’t relist while someone with the same items does, you will never sell your items.
Basically, its Last in, First out system. So the last item that gets listed gets sold first (at that price range).
Its an improvement on what was before, but has created a culture of Cancel and Relisting to get things sold. Its the only way to sell anything on the auction house in its current form.
I have no problem selling ores and whatever just listing them normally. I never had to wait more than 10 mins. Still don’t get it but I see what you guys mean.
Where’s the benefit from cancelling the action? Surely it never gets sold if you constantly cancel your auctions.
It’s not just about Trader Materials though, which suffer from another problem called Snipping (which is why yours are probably selling so fast). Other items, have less demand and might take longer to sell (i.e. base Legendaries, BoE’s, other consumables). So players will need to keep checking that they’re item is the most recently listed to make sure it sells next. So for example, do a Calling, check your auctions, do a Dungeon, check auctions… . But when you’re fighting against a Bot who is relisting their items instantly, it’s an impossible game.
I’m a “will sell eventually” guy. I don’t really do re-listing, I put everything up with a 48H timer and hope something sells, usually something does but it feels like mogs and base legos are not moving.
Might be because of bot re-listers or just regular players. I wouldn’t know
