I try to level alchemy. So I went to Terokkar forest.
Oh boy, there are lots of level 70 chars here!
Try again later the same day. Same story.
And now I recognize the names of these level 70 chars.
And then the next day. Guess what. Same story.
Please fix it, this is a game breaker for me at least.
Outdoor farming has been ruined since the first month or two of P1 and I doubt it will ever change. Level up some toon which can instance farm in wotlk if you want to make gold, there is no point in competing with tons of bots and other players in a layer full of people.
If you are on a mega-realm the do expect that there will be to little open world resources for all of you 
And what, go to dead realm? Bots are everywhere anyway.
Either Blizzard should adjust layers count or limited max population on realms on vanilla classic launch.
