Bots spamming Horde Trade and Services chat 24/7!

At first I thought it was a bug, since I tend to play Alliance, which doesn’t have this happening (to this extend)…

I just moved my character to Kazzak (Horde), and Trade and Services are OVERFLOWING with spammed advertisement, by what could IMPOSSIBLY be people “manually posting things”. :exploding_head:

We are talking 10-20 chat messages a second… :face_with_head_bandage: CONSTANLY non-stop!

In my 6+ years of playing WoW, I have NEVER had to learn how to make custom tabs in my chat window, until now. JUST to get rid of bots spamming. :sweat_smile:

Now I know there are most likely addons and such for removing unwanted “advertisement”… But common… :confused:

People like me who like to use as few addons as possible, would appreciate not having to need an addon for fixing something like this. :sweat_smile:

Trade chat is trade spamm for crafting gear etc.

The boosting spamm is all in the service chat nowdays

The first thing I do when creating a new character is leave trade services channel :laughing:

As Puny said, try leaving such channels
/leave 5
Replace the 5 with whatever the number is for the channel you don’t wanna see.

First thing I do when I make a new character or whatever is leave that channel. Though I find it strange that such a channel that is filled with boost spam is enabled by default. Imagine a new player being greeted by all that spam! Not a great first impression of the game.

Same here I almost get a stroke every time i start a new character and enter the city
