I’m just here to share my frustration since i could not find any solution to my problem.
I live in Germany so my account currency is set to euros, but since i’m a good samaritan , i’m doing some volunteer work in England. With all the hype around classic i decided to try it out as well. My account was not active and i did not habe enough balance to buy myself some gametime.
Currently i live in a small town and i had to pay 6 pounds for a bus to go to another town to buy a blizzard balance card or w/e it’s called and of course it was in pounds. Full of excitement i went home hoping that at the time i’m writing this post, i would be playing my cute gnome mage… But as it turns out i can’t use the prepaid card. I can’t ask Blizzard support to set my account to another country since i’ll be staying in England only for a month and a half and i have no ID or w/e with my current address.
Did any of you had a similar problem and found any kind of solution, or should i just give up on playing for the time being?

Dont you cry. People need to wait in que for at least two hours get in to the game anyway…

I would suggest you go back to the store and see if they can refund the purchase for you. If that is not possible, contact support directly and see if they can help out.

Sadly the shop does not refund any gift cards…
Anyways, everything got sorted out. The GMs did an awesome job and helped me resolve my problem. All i can say is, keep up the good work and don’t let others bring you down with the non stop complains about everything!!! You are doing an awesome job!
