Bountiful Delves: Why is the Rep not zone-determined?

I’m not going to waste my few keys on an activity to get Rep I can’t even determine. That’s just too much of a risk ending up with the wrong Rep gains on a faction you currently aren’t planning on leveling.

We players should be able to get fixed rep, depending on the Bountiful Delve per rotation interval.

Means:

  • Isle of Dorn → Dornogal Rep
  • Ringing Deeps → Council of the Deeps(?) Rep
  • Hallowfall → Hallowfall Expedition Rep
  • Azj’kahet → Severed Threads Rep

A similar activity exists in Destiny 2, a game I name as an example way too often here. There, the daily Lost Sector rotation determines a specific slot of exotic gear (basically the legendaries in Destiny) so people can target their desired item. And each day the slot changes.

Just slap the same principle onto Bountiful delves, put in a simple rotation that each day a different zone is picked and the rep gained from that delve is restricted to the faction of that zone.

There is literally no need to ruin the experience with unnecessary RNG.

And before someone says “but a Bountiful Delve still rewards you with progress”. Yes, it may do that. But it’s progress in areas where I don’t currently want progress perhaps. So it would very nice of Blizzard if they could let me decide when and where I spend my keys for the stuff I actually want in case of reputation gains.

Because I just wasted a key and 15 minutes on a Tier 3 Delve in Hallowfall… That awarded me Reputation for Dornogals faction

You’re going to level up those renown ranks no matter what you’re doing. Also, never waste your coffer keys on these low tier delves. Save them up for when they release the higher tiers.
