Bounty Satchel is the new Artifact power and it's awful

Title should say enough, the reason artifact power was bad in legion and people hated the way it was implemented was that there was no cap on how much you could get only diminishing returns, so you had to spam dungeons over and over and over again or fall behind and extremely alt unfriendly.

I dont mind heroic + but why the hell would you put the new tier of emblems drop in a bag from last boss, now if you wanna keep up you have to do every heroic on every character every day until you have your emblem gear or fall behind, which I assume is intended to force well geared people to keep boosting people in dungeons with zero gear they need besides emblems which is boring as hell.

Please put the bounty satchel down to valor emblems or remove it entirely, northrend supply package was a damn stupid change (I have 50 mails of items to my bankalt to sort and alchemy is worthless now) but this is even worse, why should people get tons of current bis gear (ilvl 232) without new raid tier even being out by forcing them to spam hundreds of dungeons they need zero things from.

If you need to force people to play your heroic+ content rather than people doing it willingly for fun/challenge maybe you should have a bit of humility and realize it isnt a worthwhile change. The content is way too easy for the rewards it gives yet too time consuming to feel worthwhile, I thought whole reason we went from honor system in classic to arena points in tbc was to reward people playing well over mindlessly grinding, and same reason with artifact power in legion then why do you force this on us?

You know in 2 days ulduar opens?

Doesn’t this bag only drop from the heroic+ that is that day’s daily heroic? Twitch chat is where I got that info, and I didn’t see a bag drop from non-daily heroic heroic+'s.
So 1 chance per day to get it vs 4 people, for 3 emblems, that ain’t so bad.

Did you seriously just come here to post a 4 paragraph whine post about a system you don’t even understand?

tl;dr OP doesn’t understand following mechanics:

  • Titan Rune Dungeons
  • Emblems
  • Artifact Power from Legion
  • Northrend Supplies
  • Entire profession of alchemy

I can’t wait for daily whine threads regarding HC+ that will be replaced after the weekend with “hard modes in Ulduar are too hard” threads

Next time perhaps one might consider fact-checking their friend before forum whining?

Which does not happen at all in Classic community, Tried setting up abunch of dungeons and every time a geared player (4.2+gs) gets summoned to see me in 3.5gs and the tank in 3.8gs they leave

the bag becomes irrelevant after like 2 resets.

I’m personally never setting another foot there again lol.

Why do you feel forced to do it?

I hated the constant spawn of mirror images in Nexus, I’m not doing something that is not fun for me.

If you’re only doing it for the daily 2 conquest badges, you could just plow through vanilla-heroic.

This^^

You can do your daily heroic quest with 2 conquest badges as reward on regular heroic. The satchel is only for one lucky winner and will become practically irelevant within 2-3 weeks. So unless you farm a specific piece of gear you’re missing, heroic plus is not worth the additional you spend there. Even if you want to do it for fun, you’ll quickly get bored, especially when you do Blood Rune dungeons.

Problem with Titan Rune is atm that there’s really no reason to do them in their current state. People that want to gear up will be better off running 10-man raids (since even with decreased amount of loot they are both easier and drop better gear) while fully geared parties won’t feel the challenge at all. Putting a reward for one out of five players ultimately defeats the purpose of running HC+ as your daily (and I say it as someone that got their bag first run). It’s just shows that you can’t kill two birds with one stone.
