I think it’s already clear to everyone that Blizzard doesn’t care about the warlock anymore. The terrible, careless changes of warlocks in TWW are a continuation of the terrible line of development of warlocks in Dragonflyght. The warlock’s designer class is either missing, or he just doesn’t care. I urge all dissatisfied people to like this post in protest, maybe if it gets a lot of likes, then Blizzard will pay at least some attention to it.

P.S. Write down what you think about the warlock’s current condition, as well as his future changes.

Destro is still feels way to stationary, even with the changes coming in TWW it will not make it easier for movement heavy moments. Infact it will make it worse as now we have to cast DB and soulfire just to upkeep damage.
Its good that soulfire might become a viable ST build but the whole spec tree + hero talents does not match up and it just feels like we are getting the middle finger from blizzard.
And now they take away the one thing that made destro unique by removing Avatar of Destruction (purple infernal)

Warlock is a class with braindead players, ITS KNOWN that alpha is WIP, ITS KNOWN that destro’s current talent tree is placeholder, AND WE RECEIVED ONE OF THE BEST TREES FOR DEMO RIGHT NOW btw.
But no, “everything is doomed and we must personally attack devs” :clown_face:

i haven’t said anything for alpha dragonflight, it’s obvious why dragonflight’s trees were less than ideal, they didn’t have enough dev time and data to fully rework every class to fit for talent trees and update gameplay for modern standards.
As i said, affli looks good, demo looks good, destro is WIP

Are you blind? can you read? do you even know what’s going on on alpha? Blizzard specifically stated that they’ll rework every warlock tree, because it wasn’t properly reworked during dragonflight, it’s not a result of feedback.

As long as it had so much dot bloat it couldn’t be good, it was tuned better, and of course df introducing new talent trees broke some classes to feel unsatisfying to play, my point is - they are fixing it, we have not some small reworks but entire overhauls for both affli and demo with clear direction, destro’s overhaul incoming too

its WIP but the changes they do are minor, if we want big changes we HAVE TO complain and we have to do it loudly as possible.
if we dont we are at the devs and influencers mercy.

Demo was fine during a large part of the expansion, its was the class dev to pushed to make NP and tyrant weaker.
The only thing that was justifable was core economy but now he has trimmed it down to 3-5 cores every 30 seconds, forceing us to spam SB just to get a good amount of imps.

Tyrant on alpha hits a like a fricking truck, the entirety of tree is overhauled, also i was talking about dragonflight affli.

Are you still talking about very-early pre-overhaul demo’s tree? XD

I don’t play destro , so no comment there , but affly and demo make me depressed for how warlock will turn out .

Demo :
1: Moving into shadow bolt spam , because Demonic core is too fun in a spec that casts 90% of their abilities ? Who here likes to spam shadow bolt ? Raise your hand please , I like Demonic core weaving . When it dies down due to rng the class becomes extremely clunky due to shadow bolt .

2: No changes to giving the caster more strength . We are still AI generators .

3: Further reduction of demon variety by removing Nether portal . Master Summon ? What a joke ! We summon imps , dogs and stuck with one main pet … That is like making Beast Master hunters only being able to use 1 Pet from 1 Family , with only one available skin . Yo hunter I heard you like tiger ? Ok No other pets than tiger . You are beast master after all , so you master only tigers . What a joke …
Where’s the Infernal ?
Where’s the Pitlord?
Satyr ?
Succubus ?
Voidwalker ?
Fel Hunter?
Observer?
Eredar ?
Where is enslave demon ?

4: Only positive is doom changes , because I like doomguard …

Affliction :
1: Removing Soul Swap , because what reason ? Oh yea , no reason . Core PvP ability deleted , because reasons . Thank you .
2: No strong dots , but millions of multipliers . Why ? Because why would you expect to have strong dots from a DOT spec . No … You are supposed to stack your spreadsheet and do … Malefic Rupture …
3: Malefic Rupture … We have 5 active threads on the otherwise dead EU forum ASKING FOR MALEFIC RUPTURE TO BE REMOVED .
What does blizzard do ?

You put your modifiers . And do … That Da DA . Malefic Rupture .

You now what that means ? It means that everything Outside of Malefic Rupture will be Trash .
You like Drain Soul ? Too bad.
You like Nigthfall procs ? Too bad .
You like Drain Life ? To bad .
You like to multidot ? Too bad .

Supper depressing and OP is right . Whoever designs this goes AGAINTS feedback , not with it .

Which warlock wanted Succubus demonology PvP talent removed ? No warlock , but it was removed .
Who wanted to be stuck playing felguard ? No warlock, but it was enforced .
Which warlock wanted Soul Swap to be removed ? No one , but it will be removed .
Which warlock wanted Combo Point System in warlock to begin with ? NOONE , but we are stuck with these constant builders spenders .

Warlock having different pets . NOOO , my x class as less utility , it is too much . Prune warlocks pls.
Warlock Spreading dots . NOOO warlock does too much DPS . It is TOO hard to dispel . Make dots useless pls .
Warlock being able to cast without relying on RNG and Procs . NOOO warlock beat me in dps , because I had bad procs . NERF PLS .

Meanwhile other classes are like :

You struggle with with dps ? Here is passive for just being there sitting pretty.

Warlock beat you cleave fight ? Dot worry , here are cleaves . They cleave everything with 30 yards . They also do it on your single target ability . They also apply 3 dots . They also Apply mortal strike , slow and speed reduction . Oh yea , they also stun everything now and again .

You can’t dispel warlocks ? Don’t worry . UA is limited to 1 target . It’s damage is also now a joke . Still not enough ? okay … Here is Auto dispel from your main hand attack ? Want more ? OK … You can also have a button to return all warlock dots on the warlock .

Warlock is able to run too much? OK … you can have 3 chargers , immunity to slows , ranged stuns , disorients , that DO NOT dr with each other ? Still not enough > OK lets make warlock spam shadow bolt and Rupture too . We wouldn’t want them to actually get a cast off would we .

I long to see Affliction become like a proper fallen mage/dark caster instead of a bloatfest with pets.
Let other two specs have pets, but allow Affliction to remain petless and to be like that greedy dark mage.

The button bloat is insane for affliction as well and TWW isn’t helping it sadly.
