Brann is the penultimate representation of the average WoW player

His healing potions are really strong, his execute as a dps really speeds up runs. I can do an 8 in about 6 minutes now, brann is a big reason for that.

Ah, I tried to do it a couple of times last week but died. I’m under 600 so wasn’t too concerned.

i don’t know a single melee spec that can’t full hp himself/mitigate damage/make yourself invulnearable, if you get hit too much by his basic autos you need higher ilvl, this boss is very melee friendly

DPS Brann is garbage but his healing is fine, as long as you are able to get the potions he’s quite a passable healer.

Though that might just be because both delves and Zek’vir are quite easy and I didn’t feel in any real danger

They can’t remove the NPC. The NPC is the only guarantee they have that every class can have a decent time soloing things.

A vast majority of specs are built to demand the support of others. If they don’t get that they often break or become wildly imbalanced (usually in the form of extreme weakness) and only three trivialised open world gets away with that for this exact reason.

It isn’t much fun to not be able to deliver strong bosses because the player is a healer and can’t hurt the boss barely at all.

The NPC should be improved and the tuning tightened as this happens, but to claim that Brann makes delves harder is pretty absurd. The delves are tuned around his fabulous stupidity. Most of the issues you lidt have been fixed, and none of them were intentional.

Not like they are a massive company but still waited to live to fix… Should have been seen in internal testing and then PTR…

It’s usually only the top players who go to the PTR to actually test things. Most just go to see how their class look not to test.

I think we can all agree that Blizzard QA has been cut to the bone and that this is a massive problem.

Nevertheless, I don’t think removing Brann is the solution here.

To be honest, removing features can often be a good response to QA problems. If you can’t test everything, you shouldn’t build it.

But I consider Delves to be excellent feature and the companion is absolutely essential for it to work well.

Personally I think they instead should axe a lot of other features, most notably in their ceaselessly buggy UI, with special afternoon to a lot of panels, and a variety of buggy audio systems. I think they should remove the raytracing and do it properly, and most importantly I think they need to remove upwards of a thousand passive spells and talents and take a serious look at how they do load balancing and server infrastructure, because it really isn’t working well at all.

They should probably also take a very careful look at how they do scaling and, more often than not, remove it.

So everything else

That is very, VERY far from everything else. I made no mention of PvP, dungeons, questing, or raids. Not even pet battles.

His healing is dope, if you have trouble catching the potions, all i say is: Get good, l2p, skill issues and so on.

Wait…there’s LFG for Delves ?

Yea I never knew about it until a guildie guided me. LFG tool (I) under Premdade Groups - Delves (second option). You can choose the delve and tier too

Getting the final boss to sub 20% and Brann leaps off of the ship taunting the boss and resetting it. Bravo sir!

Ah, I get you…not really LFG but premade groups :+1:

I’d rather play this game with Brann than NPCs like you ngl

failing PVE encounter and blaming it on NPC instead of yourself is a crazy concept

Brann is awesome, lol.
And I love the fact that Brann boosts my alts through high level delves.
Bro do you even have rank 4 curio’s?

Melee friendly? You joking right? He’s the easiest ranged fight if you kite him like crazy and just let him spam his frontals and AoE and never let him hit you.

maybe only if you can cast on move.
so bm hunt and mage, and even then you need to constantly move and none of the classes can move constantly, while melees are designed to engage/disengage
