Brawler's Guild

Good idea with the downside of possibly being unable to complete the quest for bruce since it forces you to have other people doing the brawl.

Best idea is brawl early morning with noone around and do quest in the crowded hrs limiting brawl at the minimum needed.

Thanks for the heads up.

I love brawlers guild, aside from boss fights and all that, I always have fun with other people there, talking and what not :stuck_out_tongue:

You can always wait for some people to join and buy rumble card, i did 3 rumbles in 10minutes when i was on that quest.

To clarify, the second part needs you to complete 3 rumbles in the chain. The first requires you to food splat a brawler. Rumbles are hard solo, so it can be best to go when it’s mildly busy.

2 best tactics I’ve found:

  • Go to bed earlier, wake up the same amount earlier before work and use the time in the quiet brawlpub.
  • Go at raid times, many people will be raiding with guilds, pugs etc or even doing RBGs and M+s, if you can find the time on a Weds/Thurs/Mon evening, it can be quiet.

There is always 8+ people on my realm in the Brawl’gar Arena, i had no idea it may be hard to complete any rumble quest

The pub it’s sharded like everything else, your realm won’t matter.

One of my favorite things about Brawler’s Guild is the social aspect of it. At the arena, there are all kinds of people: everyone from newly-dinged 120’s to those with absurdly high RIO scores. Yet, we all stand together as equals, cheering each other on and giving one another tips on how to beat the bosses. Everyone contributes to keeping the spirit healer up and free pots.

Nowhere else in WoW have I felt that kind of community and sense of comradery with strangers. It really is an awesome experience, and something I hope to see more of beyond Brawler’s Guild.

Exactly why I love the brawlers guild so much as well. For a few raid nights in a row me and a lot of guildies chill there for a few hours after raid. Talking with other ppl and stuff.

Does anyone know btw if Mecha Bruce can be slowed? I am struggling on him a bit. Im going to try and use my consecration talent to hopefully slow him down.

Yup… I mostly do it at night for shorter queues and less embarassement possibilities.

Nope, you can break the stun with the human racial and other immunities.
But the best way is to take him to a corner, and when he casts his upgrade run to the opposite corner, you don’t even need a speed boost. He’ll always cast stasis beam after better, faster, stronger. The 2 casts give you about 5-6 seconds to get away from him long enough for the 4 second stun to not matter too much.

It’s not advised to do the brawl as a tank due to the enrage mechanics, better go as retribution.

You can solve the vast majority of the fight by brute force dps with the wings and popping the bubble to overcome some mechanics.
Examples: for mecha bruce i did it with emfh on the first stun and bubble on the second.
For the spy guy altough identify the object is a joke, the knockback was much more of an inconvenience to dodge since was a second before the flames, so i went with the bubble to avoid death and burn him down.

Wowhead guide is of help but not perfect.

Thanks! Dagga too!

I haven’t had any troubles on the fights as a tank (got to rank 6, last fight like that anyway). Beating the 2min enrage hasnt been a real issue. It’s more that after a few times Bruce’s cast times get so short that I don’t have enough time to run away.

Yes because you must burn him asap, he is going stronger and move faster each upgrade so if you let him upgrade enough you won’t be able to pop bubble because he will be next to you with 2 seconds of stun remaining. I used Shadowstep on him because he was upgraded 3 or 4 times and he started to cast chomp chomp chomp when i was stunned still, less than 1 second, blink of an eye and i managed to get behind him and finish the job ^^ Mecha Bruce is stricte DPS check so retribution is prefered or even a must.

Brawl arena fights are all about avoidable spells and mechanics, survival from tank is useless there (maybe with 1 exception)

The last fight have no tanking needs, dmg is not high.
The 3 guys of the last fight with the big shield are a pain unless you can burn down quickly the little one, the knockback is very annoying.
Also the Mecha seagull is easier with high dps because at some point the swarm are going to be a lot and the room to kite will become small

I really love the idea, but hate waiting around, then people watching me on top of that really puts me off. Really wish it could be instanced like proving grounds.

Instancing Brawler’s Guild would defeat the point and fantasy of Brawler’s Guild, particularly with this inspiration from the movie Fight Club. Perhaps there should be other challenging solo content that you can instance, but I’d not want that to be done to this particular piece of content. Proving Grounds itself could certainly be expanded upon in the future.

Don’t worry too much about the folks watching. They aren’t pointing and laughing, in fact, most of them are likely cheering you on!

I hope they end up doing what they did with the guild back in MoP with 6.3 and add in two more ranks above 8 with extra boss fights. That’s where all of the really challenging stuff got added in, and hasn’t happened again since that first occasion.

Hoping for this as well. This season so far isn’t all that exciting, so they could always add some of the more challenging encounters like Ray D Tear or Hexos back in.

My server is quite dead, but yesterday we where in the brawlers guild with a stunning 3 men, and this one guy kept cheering me on, providing me tips for my next fight, it was really cool. Cheered him on in return, ofcourse. It was fun!
Im not nearly as good to complete the whole thing, I usually strand on rank 4 or 5, but these social interactions are cool. Too bad they are so rare
