Like The Sims 3/4, both games in the world’s best-selling franchise, with body sliders, both deemed suitable for 12+?
I managed to get a rudimentary version of it working in 2003 on the Warcraft 3 engine.
It’s not the engine. It’s a deliberate choice.
Obviously there’s a lot of tech needed to get it to look nice, and lots of tech has been made in this regard since 2003 - all of which is very easy to get your hands on, as a few people in this thread have already noted.
Gods, why do people always think that the reason something’s not in WoW is the engine? Sometimes something’s not in a game because the developers don’t want it to be there, and that includes boob sliders
you forget Sims Misses out several things WoW already has to Announce…

WoW already has the occassional Swear word, Blood, Violence, Intense Fantasy Violence,
WoW already takes alot of Flack for not raising its age bracket to 16+… as Multiple sites think the game should… release this aswell and they’ll be uproar… and i think the last thing blizzard Needs During a expansion release is Articles publishing “sexualised content for Minors”.
You may get a WoW feminist complaining because your character needs to “manspread” more than usual.
They probably would need to update all the transmogs to work with different breast size. Too much work, so probably won’t happen.

World of Warcraft: violence, language, 12+
Same amount of boxes on the, erm, boxes, same age rating.
There’s a lot of reasons body sliders can’t/won’t be a thing, but age rating isn’t one of them.
Sims is a Single player game.
And u cant be engaged by anothjer player for Detailed ERPing…
Ur forgetting WoW Could be used as a form of Grooming while Sims cannot…
and dont act like it doesnt, AD players have been VERY against goldshire for this reason for a long while now.
this is always under the assumption that body sliders will be considered sexual - every poster in this thread probably differs in shape from each other at least in the slightest IRL and that’s not sexual.
U have people who openly admit they mainly play Female toons cause their hot xD, not to mention goldshire inn…
and while this isnt everyone
u gotta weigh up the good and bad of a decision
I’m 100 kg and 176 cm. Give me a body slider to match my irl build. 
how is that related to the fact that we all have different bodies?
All jokes aside I think it’s reasonable and could be implemented - I don’t see why not
I’m not forgetting anything. I’m stating facts. ESRB and PEGI both have certain criteria they justify the games’ age rating with and these criteria when handing out a 12+ rating does apparently not include “People Can Do Bad Things Online”. PEGI actually has an “online interactions” thingie iirc, but it’s not used in the case of WoW.
What about a crotch slider for dudes?

Speak for yourself, I find kul tiran amazing, if only they weren’t alliance I would race change half my characters to male kul tiran

While i Very rarely… assume anyones Female and Mainly assume 99% of the players i play with are Male.
At the same time… there is a Reason i’ve over years come to expect Most Female Models to be Male… and simply assumed such as the Safer option as im right in more cases then wrong.
when u look at games like EQ1, Males playing Female Characters was FAR rarer, theres a Reason why over the years as game models have improved more and more men roll female characters.
Its a Easily accessible place where u can Sexualise a Character you’ve created to be perfect in “your own eyes”. and do i beleive things like this do play massively into those kind of people.
I’ve never cared a Ounce about my characters breast size, nor is it something i realistically ever consider… even when having one in FFXIV i never realistically used it unless the random Looks it gives u upon making the char maxs it out…
i’ve always found in alot of games with breast sliders… it generally looks god damn Awful in armour.

when we’re talking Breast size Sliders… we’re talking the Female Models… not male.
Im more then aware trhat Orcs etc etc have plenty of male side but theres a Massive reason why SPecific Races hold Majority to females in numbers and others Male.
and ther Uglier races just do tend to have a Far lower % comparitively to the “Prettier” Races.
it doesnt rly change the fact there are Plenty who use WoW models for less innocent reasoning… ans gold shire is a perfect reason
dont get me wrong we all know the true reasons no sliders exist. Is because the Servers simply couldnt uphold a feature lol. but lets not pretend the WoW community wouldnt dare Sexualise a Slider avaliable to female models.
A friend had the ingenious idea to only give the Alliance Breast Sliders. This will save the faction!
