Oh i know, i was never a fan of those in general.
Nothing is going to stop dailies being the same, if you hate it that much it’s best to just do a bit each brewfest and collect stuff gradually. I had ignored Brewfest for two years and finally bothered to do it this time
Oh i do that too, not often. Very rarely. But i cba anymore, since i just finished recently getting the brew tabard. And then i hoped it was account wide, only to find out you can only get that per character. After that i have being like.
Yep, thats it. I am done, never again am i doing this crap.
check if you can recover it from the tabard npc
Ofcourse, except i want it for my main too. And it’s opposite faction, and there is no way to recover that unless i get the tabard on that char too (regrinding those tickets again…)
It need sa complete rework. It’s basically the same even years ago with a few changes.
I completed my Strange Trip Achievement in 2010 and there’s been nothing substantival done with holidays since.
They need to spend more time on Holidays. Holidays last a lifetime but expansions only last a couple of years.
I don’t tend to keep tabards. Once I’ve collected the appearance I can mog it onto any character. Does it do something special? I never looked.
It has nothing special to it no, i simply would have liked it on all my chars for mog reasons. Since it will work pretty great with any creative mog where either orange or dark brown is involved alot in it.
P.S: Off to bed, i gotta get ready for work tomorrow. (incase i get any replies, i put this in this post)
i cant think of one event where you can get everything the same year.
i want all clothes and tabard on my main, i had some from previous years, hopefully ill get the rest this year.
But you can mog the tabard regardless. Lets say Bob buys the tabard. When I log on Jim, I can put any tabard on and then transmog it into the one that BoB bought.
This year I got the hearthstone, two outfits, two sets of boots, two hats, a pretzel thing toy that you wear on your head and something else I can’t remember.
It is really easy to hit 200 coins/tokens per character, you do all the one off quests plus the dailies and the event boss. Then the following day you do just dailies and the event boss. Rinse repeat until you have enough. I did a different character every day.
The prices vary, some things are only 50 tokens, the most expensive are 200.
It is however a lot of repetition. I split mine between Horde and Alliance.
Currently it dosen’t show that when i check tabards on my alliance main. But after that timer with ‘‘you’ll be able to get a refund if you refund this item with X time’’ light blue message.
I will have the miracle after the timer has expired and then it also shows on my alliance main. I also already equipped it on this char. Still didn’t show up on my alliance main when i checked tabards on that char to.
That timer is a pain.
It is! i get why it’s on some specific gears. But for tabards it shouldn’t even be there!
I started with none of the brewfest items unlocked this year and I’m well on track to get absolutely everything before it ends. I’ve been using two level 110s and two low level characters doing all dailies but skipping the keg running some days.
Having those extra pink elephant tokens would’ve been nice but as it stands I’ll be completely done with the holiday in a couple of days with only coren left to do for the kodo.
Point is, it’s more than doable in it’s present state.
True story. If you like playing alts often. Which i don’t.
But i get your points.
My Brewfest question is… Is it that hard to make a single new toy or mog item for a whole year/two?
Brewfest is my favourite event but I never touched it this year cuz there isnt anything new to farm.
my point is not if you can get everything the same year with alts, its if you can get all the clothing, tabard and wearable(including main hand) items on your main on the same year (preferably before the last day so you can actually wear it).
i dont know if its possible, maybe it is, but i dont think so.
my personal goal is to get all unique items of all the events in my main’s bank.
The way things have been going, it’s looking like I will have accumulated about 1100 total tokens on this character by the last day. That’s sadly not enough to buy everything, but it is to buy most of the things. For that I can get the tabard, the regalia, the boots, all of the hats, the garland, the mainhand tankard and the synthbrew goggles.
Is that good news for you? You decide. Not having most of it until the last days is certainly a bummer.
Come to think of it, my question is: what’s wrong with wearing brewfest clothing out of season, Blizzard?
