Brewfest XP buff is inadequate

2 times per day at 6:00 / 18:00 st you get 10% xp buff

time to maybe update this to every hour??

At a little past 6:10 AM and 6:10 PM region time (CEST or PDT), representatives from the breweries arrive at their faction’s respective Brewfest camp to give a short speech and just before 6:15, tap the small keg on the stand at the Brewfest grounds. Characters attending this ceremony receive a Brewfest Enthusiast buff granting 10% extra experience for two hours. If a character still has the buff from an earlier Tapping, the duration will not be refreshed, so players should be sure to cancel their existing buff before trying to get a new two hour one. This buff does persist through death.

To be fair all of them should last through deathe and all day and should only be refreshed every 24 hours or just a perm buff whilst event up .

I’ve played a lot of brewfest in the past and can’t say that I had that buff many times.

The time always felt silly to me. Evening one is right around dinner time for us. Morning one… yeah well… 6 in the morning everyone plays this game no? :stuck_out_tongue:

It also feels at odds with other events. Not that we really need the buff but it would have been more elegant to do it on a more frequent basis than what is in place.

I have never bothered with the Brewfest one due to it’s awkward timing, it’s much easier in other events as you say.

Does the buff even exist anymore? according to wowhead it should pop 6:15PM Pacific time and it didn’t pop as that was 7mins ago, or am i wrong?

It pops 6:15PM pacific time for NA, eu has different timing as we use different time zone (not sure if CET or something else tho)

It would be the equivalent server time for us. So not a time conversion.

So if it’s set to be at 06:15 that would just be 06:15 our realm time.

Don’t know why they made the buff off Brewfest an ‘event’ instead of the typical method of acquiring the rep/xp buff all other events give. Should change it to just interacting with the tapped keg for the buff… and have event attendees get a minor stat buff.

or grant the 2hr dead resistant one to atendees and a 1hr 10% that dies on death to the keg tappers
