I think the discontinued heroic raid mounts should brought back for the players who can’t play to level of heroic or mythic because having to use discord can be make playing the game very stressful to player who have health condition should as anxiety and autism.
the mounts would be (uncorrupted voidwing, violet spellwing and grove warden). these mounts could be a reward for watching all in game cinematics from the start of WoD to the fall of n’zoth in one go. that way players with health conditions or players who are new to WoW can catch up without get stressed out or feel left out.
the uncorrupted voidwing will properly be discontinued with the launch of shadowlands.
I understand how you feel. But, there’s almost no proper long term reward for raiding. It all gets reset with every patch. This is why there’s an achievement, and sometimes a mount.
If Discord is a problem for you: there are communities that raid without voice. Also especially this tier will last rather long and because of the cloak upgrades, people will permanently want to skip to the last two bosses to kill them. Once N’Zoth is on farm for everyone, people will tend to be more careless to who they invite to their pugs.
If you want AOTC and the AOTC mount, you’ll get it eventually. Everyone who actually tries, gets it.
Every raid with Heroic Curved limited mount as been pretty easy to be honnest.
Garrosh was ok, Archimonde have been carried by 8 player with litteraly 10 boost player inside who paid for it, Argus have been ok, remember help a ton of people get in and get the mount for free, and N’Zoth is … a joke, litteraly a joke, can’t even said HC N’zoth is a boss.
Also i’m fine with limited stuff, i was not enough invested for Challenge Weapon and Armor, so why should i get it later for nothing ? This logic can apply to limited mount .

There will be new exclusives next expac, just like there is every expac, DONT bring back glad mounts, DONT bring back mage tower, DONT bring back challenge modes, let players who did a piece of challenging content when it was relevant enjoy the rewards exclusivity.
I have none of them, much as I would have loved them as a mount collector. I know I could never do curve because of anxiety that I’m not good enough and that’s fine. I’m happy for the people who’ve got them.
It is not stressful to Get the AoTC mounts. For me I didn’t play Legion much until the end, were I really wanted the Spell wing, so I joined a group that did runs to get people the mount. Yes, I needed to join a Discord but all I need to do afterwards was click a button, be patience, get lucky and die at the start of the argus fight. that was it. Towards the end off this expansion, groups will probably do something similar and finding them will be easy as I actually found the community to get my spellwing from blizz themselves.
Also, if someone struggles with social anxiety etc, then maybe it isn’t the best idea to play an MMO.
Yeah please giveaway hard to earn things to people who cant even bother join a guild to get it. Can i get 10mill gold for watching the shadowlands trailer too? And dont try to tell me these hurr durr me anxiety me autism etc cuz thats still not an argument everyone have problems maybe worse than that and still earning those if they want it.
AOTC is not hard to earn. It’s basically just a “I raided at that time” thing. Also, as pointed out by others ITT, the mount bosses are usually easy.
N’Zoth took me 1/3 of the pulls that Azshara did and there’s already >4k guilds who killed heroic N’Zoth and we’re what? 6-7 weeks into the tier?
Also Ny’alotha is going to stay a while and at some point with our fancy cloaks and hundreds of corruption resistance we’ll basically ROFL N’Zoth to death. And as I said before, the endless cloak upgrades will lead to people wanting to kill him every week.
AOTC was never hard. AOTC really just means “I raided this tier”
That “i raided in this tier” thing is exactly the reason why people love these things. Its something unique that cant be earned later by others who put less or no effort at all in the game. So yes if you want something then play,if it happened before you started playing, well tough sht you will get the next unique item.
