Bring back Dizzying Haze for Midnight

Brewmaster used to have an ability called Dizzying Haze that would generate a bunch of threat from range. It was like keg smash but instead of dealing damage you splashed mobs with booze to make them mad. I think it should replace Crackling Jade Wind for Brewmaster. It used to be as iconic a part of Brewmaster’s kit as Tiger Palm. The assets for this ability are already in the game files. I doubt it would take much time or effort to bring it back and it would be a huge boon to how Brewmaster feels while pulling in dungeons. I would be okay with even a nerfed single target version that did a bit of damage (making it our version of Throw Glaive). Or it could be an AoE taunt with a cooldown similar to prot warrior’s Challenging Shout

CJW is a very poor substitute for what Dizzying Haze used to do. It’s a channeled ability on the most mobile tank in the game. It looks and feels terrible to use. But most importantly, casting CJW to get aggro on a distant enemy can munch your Flurry Strikes proc and make your character attack the air like all the brewmastering finally pickled its brain. It’s an ability that actively griefs you. Compare it to Prot Warrior’s Throw Weapon or VDH’s Throw Glaive and you’ll see why it’s so bad. I’m not asking for a whole new convoluted solution. Just bring back what we already know works.

Ugh if only. I’d love to see it back.

Not sure if anyone remembers, but Brewmaster also had that tiny percentage niche of their debuffs having a chance the enemy hits themselves. Primarily came from Dizzying Haze, mind.

Back then there was no cooldown on it and they added a slow. It was considered to OP at the time by developers. If they just add it back with a CD and maybe remove the slow, so its only function is range pull.

Its one of the bigger disappointment when Legion came out that that ability was gone and the only substitute was Keg toss on a 2 min cd.
