I think its the perfect time to give collectors some love. We are now well over 1000 mounts, we have collectors bounty and a new mount interface next patch. its time. We havent had anything in ages and it sits at a measly 500. Whats the point in collecting after that? Maybe reward people who has spent along time farming to show off with some cool achi thats gives mounts?
Such an easy win to throw in like a 600 all the way to 1100 mount achis. All of a sudden there is a huge end game progression for collectors. Makes sense to me.
And before the argument of “it puts other people off starting collecting.” Tough? Why should people who put time and effort into something and enjoy it be punished because it might upset someone who probably wouldnt have committed to it anyway.
I just reached 900 mounts the other day, and i agree, more achievments for mount collectors, also, why don’t rare mounts reward FoS achievments anymore?
Would be nice to have more added, especially that ‘missing’ 450 one! The pet series is currently at 1800, and we should have them to like 800 at best?
As for the rare mounts, it is odd. Maybe they just gave up after some time or only give them out when it’s special enough or something. Or make a meta for collecting X amount of rare drops, or X amount of a certain race.
Well, Invincible, Mimiron’s Head, Ashes if Alar, Fiery Warhorse ect all have a FoS, so why not pretty much all the other raid boss drop mounts, Ironhoof Destroyer, Korkron Juggernaut, Felsteel Annihilator, Shackled Urzel, Ny’alothan Allseer, Vengeance, Zereth Overseer, im sure im forgetting some.
Pretty much all of these meet the same criteria as the first mentioned, they used to be guaranteed when the raid tier was current, then got lowered to about 1% later.
I see what you mean Invince was the first real heroic mount , its really strange we got FoS for ZG tiger and raptor too and they were not end bosses and we got FoS pre removal as well.
There does not seem to be any logic behind any of it.
just logged in to post the same thing… It’s beyond dumb they removed continuation of this achievement in war within, they literally know it’s good for players to suggest them this form of activity to form mounts, yet they discontinued most important achievement that makes you want to get any mount just to progress achievement
blizz pls add continuation of this collector’s achievement, “thanks for carry” is last one and we want more
