but not to that extend, they can win all your stuff now. Also dont forget the trolls, never forget the trolls.
Like i said, i did not play shadowlands.
I just came back a month ago for Dragonflight.
I’ll share my Blacklist with you in Dragonflight. Probably will main the char im Posting with.
That didnt happen though did it, because you were able to get at least 1 piece of gear a week through LFR so you’re flat out being disingenuous and an absolute idiot to think this system is exactly the same.
No you were not. There wasnt any guaranted loot or bad puck protecrion with personal loot. I had many full clear lfr raids where i would get absolutly nothing in all wings. Its utter disinformation that perosnal loot somehow guaranted you loot.
Isn’t drops from instanced content only one amongst many ways of getting gear ?
Won’t we be able to turn to crafting, M+, world content once DF hit ? I get that it sucks now, but I’m hopeful tthat as the expansion goes on, we won’t have THAT many gearing issues (based on previous expansions)
You can still get more than one item from a Boss. With personal loot you only got one which you rolled off if you didn’t need it.
So Overall you have a less chance to get something since people can get multiple pieces.
It was way more fair with personal loot. And thats a fact
Depends what you consider “fair”. Personal loot was simply numbers and “If A then B, if C then D” programming. No way to abuse or and etc.
This group loot where everyone needs on everything…regardless if they have duplicates and etc. People are already suggesting “lifehacks” to bring 5-7 friends and need on absolutely everything you can just to increase chances of even getting an item…worst case to trade it away to said friends.
I doubt it that its more “fairer”. Especially if you can also play “dirty” to increase loot chances.
Its a “fact” cause you said so? Aight, group loot is less fair than Pl because I said so. Deal with it.
Firstly i think you understood my text wrong.
I think personal loot is fairer than group loot so if i didnt understand wrong, im totally on your side with the things you just wrote.
And Personal loot is fairer because you get like 7 items and those items will go to 7 persons.
With group loot, you get 7 items and only 3 people get them. (Only an example)
Thats why i said that Personal loot is fairer.
Wholeheartedly agree, people are rolling need on everything they can just because they can
Had a conversation with another DK just yesterday, asked him “why did you roll need on the ilevel 265 chest when you have a Mythic 280+” his reply was “Why not?” I said “because some people actually need” his reply was “Why would I care what other people need?”
Its that toxic attitude and lack of gear progress that lead to me quitting previously, if this keeps up I’m out again. 14 bosses to receive 1 item isnt my idea of fun.
Not exactly LFR in my case, but when I did a HC nathria last week, of the many items that dropped I managed to get the one drop that can be a possible upgrade (an OH token from stone legion) and there were a lot of others who could have rolled for it. It’s probably just luck but still, you get to have a chance to win any item that drops. With PL, I’d not have gotten anything most likely, or I win 1 item guaranteed that is useless
I don’t know which toon you ran LFR on, but the weaker your items, the better the odds to find an upgrade if that helps
That too. The difference between the systems is the gamble. Will it be potentially 5 or even 6 items if Lady Luck favors you, or get 2 random items guaranteed, or walk home with none?
That’s not to say I’d protect the system - I don’t, as I lost countless good items in Classic and with the highest gear drops being in 25 man, dozens of people will roll against you - but both have upsides and downsides.
That’s what greed rolls are for I do the same if the item isn’t an upgrade. (Didn’t roll for offspec yet, as I sort of use the same items on my main for each spec.)
Just… make sure you don’t roll need on shields as a hunter for instance.
Oh wait, every shield is a hunter shield! Nevermind.
