Bring back the dead zone for Hunter

**

The dead zone references the distance in which a player cannot do any useful action against a hostile target. Generally this term is used by Hunters and Warriors to refer to the distance over 5 yards and less than 8 yards away from them. At 5 yards and less, a player can engage in melee combat. At 8 yards and more, a player can engage in ranged combat.

It is time to give hunter a chance to show skill again.

With the amount of gap closers most melee have now, coupled with the retarded dmg we also have now it wouldn’t work unless hunters could kite far better again.

The class is a joke much like most of SL. A shell of it former self. It was more fun back then cause the good hunters stood out from the bad ones… And you actually had a toolkit big enough that it allowed you to kite effectively…

I agree that melees have to many gap closers - but only in combination with the SL covenant and legendary gimmicks.
And we lose those with DF. A hunter should always be able to kite (at least in 1v1 situation) or in 1vX situations be as reliant on support as everyone else.
The problem is that when dead zone was deleted the game was a completely different one. Now we are at a point where a good hunter can kite you for days and destroy you without having the option of reaching him. (all under the impression of now legendary, covenant gimmicks)

I feel like rogue, hunter and warlock have so many too tools, dmg, defense and healing that we might as well delete all other classes.

I know that bgs are not what blizzard balances for. But the amount of hunters and locks I see in the bgs with the amount of killing blows and damage speaks for itself. Meanwhile lock also heal more than most healers.
