Bring back the extra melee range on survival hunter please

Played alot of survival in DF and came back for TWW but to my shock the class feels alot more restrictive with the talent removal.

Since everything in our toolkit is range outside of raptor strike. It felt right to have more range to gave us that extra mobility being able to slide out of range to avoid danger whilst throwing bombs then slide back in for a whack, but now in order to use raptor/mongosse strike you gotta get into sniffing distance which makes the class feel much more restrictive and dangerous to play.

I know alot of people didn’t play survival before but I can’t be the only one who feels this?

You are writing this as if no other melee class got their range nerfed…

They should just give it to all melee specs tbh.
Currently everyone just talks smack about Paladins, cause they are the only “melee” class right now with range on 90% of their abilities.

Giving it to all melee would be welcome, but Survival fits the theme of a long-a$$ Polearm-wielding monkey the most. Removing it was huge, as it also removed range from a lot of our other abilities, like Kill Shot, Chakram and Kill Command, to name a few.

Kill command already has a 50yard range though… (and the other mentioned abilities are 30yards)
Survival hunters can alsojust Aspect of The Eagle if they want to…

I mean ferals had it before anyone in legion as we where “elongated” being on all fours.

Thing is you cannot do it for one and not the others that won’t fly now.

Personally I do not think the melee range is the problem it makes sense the problem is the amount of anti melee mechanics being pooped all over the floor. Change that and we are golden. If it’s a problem of being in the feet of a boss / big enemy then simply make their hotbox bigger, done.

Hell one boss in rookery flys to the centre and we cannot hit it as melee I don’t mind that but give it a shield that reflects spells back at the attacker we have melee bosses where we have to stop dps and move I like those mechanics but give ranged a taste of that too, make one boss heal during a charge up for example if hit by ranged abilities… Tons of ways to even the playing field the dungeons just are anti melee

That’s the reason I mentioned it. All our other abilities are range then they make our auto attack and raptor melee which pigeons holes us into melee range and makes it feel more restrictive.
