i think an easy fix its just doing what they did whit the shadowlands meta ach, let the people that got it back in the days keep a cool title so they can parade their so called PRESTIGE around town. Boom every one is happy in my opinion this is some of blizzards best work ex druid and pala sets still some of the best even in todays standards

Easy is an understatement people would just park their alts at the start of a dungeon and just 4 man it, they were an absolute joke at the end of mop.
There is 0 reason as to why they can’t come back and while you’re at it put in the old mage tower rewards as well, all you’re doing it screwing the majority of the player base for a small minority of players who probably don’t even play the game anymore.
Original owners still have the feat of strength, and they have been able to flex for 15 years, some of the sets are some of the best sets they have ever made.
Like the Hunter CM set, nothing comes even close to the amount of class flavor it deserves to be worn by more people instead of rotting in the game files

FR my girlfriend just started playing her first reaction was looking at my spectral cat form and ask how can i get it. and i had to give the awkward explanation of why its not available .
Exactly I have it was well It’s still one of my favorite mounts but i honestly could not care if they put in a new way of getting the mount be it trading post or on a vendor for X amount of Y currency.
FOMO is absolute cancer and needs to be removed sooner rather than later and CM sets are a good 13 years late I’m okay with them having like 1xpack to flex on people after that the novelty is gone and let the rest of the people enjoy it.
iam currently testing the new event and it looks sick but iam just so disapointed.
I know right, so much potential just to be turned out as a bait to get people who play classic and sod to possibly try retail / war.
Because hey they will already have a character on retail for it once the event it over as it will carry over,
And for a way to power level alts and pad their collection numbers with items they will never use, so much potential wasted

It is prob the worst decision making things time-limited. It can easily backfire on current playerbase as well, and it only hooks back/in people temporarly. Players playing then but not doing everything will miss out as well.
Overall blizz should either add recolors of older sets so somewhat compensate and favour everyone, or flip it all up and just add EVERYTHING (CM, elite sets, etc.) to a vendor with tokens that you can turn in for ensembles of past sets where the tokens come from equivalent challenges. At the end, most players wanting a set will get that anyway when it originally releases, while others will not miss out on those either joining to the party later. Punishment being - the token is limited supply (1 per season, let’s say).

Yeah, I just hope we are able to make a large enough stink for blizzard to actually make a change as there is a while until it becomes live content

They are so lazy with WOW Pandaria Remix putting only the things that it is currently available in Retail.
Common. Put some work and restore removed MOP content like the original Valley, legendary cloack quest chain, patch 5.3 quest chain, mop brawlers guild and challenge mode. The hell I even expect to see Varian in Stormwind and Garrosh in Orgrimmar when playing with a Timerunner character.
They could do that while keeping the prestige making this restored content have new rewards like having CM recolor in MOP Remix Challenge Mode just like the Mage Tower was restored with new rewards.

Like every content there are boosted people, and there people who worked hard to get it.
Not everyone need/needed wheelchair to earn rewards.
it just shows how easy the content was, you could legit stay parked in the entrance of the dongeons…
I’m sure some people did, but that is ancient, dead history and does not change the fact that the majority of players who has them did it when it could be roflstomped.
It also does not change the fact that it has been 15 freaking years at this point.
It’s been long enough, let the rest of the player base who either were not playing at that time or were simply not born yet.

Lol 90% of CM mog owners probably bought a a boost carry through it. It’s as prestige as AOTC mounts. Gold or cash value attached to it but that is it. It not Mage tower stuff or Black Qiraji mount.
Indeed, the game has real prestige stuff that took stupid amounts of effort at the time like the black AQ tank, I fully understand items like that not coming back.
CM on the other hand doesn’t even come close, just add it back already keeping it in the void is such a waste for such a unique set
