I am still hoping we will see some kind of reunion. Tyrande couldn’t help but have a pop at Sylvanas about him and it was the first she knew of it.

If you’re missing Nathanos, my advice would be to go and rerun MoP Scholomance again. I was levelling there a couple of days ago, and turns out Darkmaster Gandling has the exact same Voice Actor, using the exact same voice as when he plays Nathanos.

It’s such a familiar voice that it’s weirdly offputting. :stuck_out_tongue:

Nathanos used to be cool. Then they widdled all over his character (And Sylvanas’ for that matter) when Danuser got hold of him. It is a good thing he is gone, rather than hanging around as a pale shadow of what his character was -supposed- to be, a mockery of his character in lore…

didn’t tyrande kinda confirm he was alive? haha

Kill Sylvanas then she and Nathanos can finally be together. Then we can leave them to enjoy themselves in every room in Torgast while we go and loot the Jailer’s armor in the final raid.

He died and his soul went to the Maw.
The Jailor would have known this, and chose to withhold that from Sylvanas.
He isn’t alive per se, but his soul is in the Shadowlands.

oh yeah she did kill him xD completely forgot haha

I agree.

Since Sylvanas is just a sad regretful elf now, we need another Forsaken leader.

Make it happen Blizzard, the Forsaken fans deserve a leader that fits our race’s identity.

Please give us something nice for a change. We had enough beating for two wxpansions now.

With Sylvanas being scared and confused, Danuser I mean Nathanos will swoop down from above and shield her frail form from the onlookers. He will gently take her in his big, strong and manly arms and offer comfort and reassurance before telling Thrall, Bolvar and Jaina everything. With everything told, all the leaders present agree to absolve Sylvanas of any wrongdoings and Nathanos and Sylvanas can go on to live happily ever after. The End.

I’m hoping we see Sylvanas and Nathanos unite. Though the Jailer has been keeping him hidden so she may have to go hunting for him.

Bring back so I can cut his head myself this time.

@op NO ! He is canonically dead , you get that ?
No more return dead and body dismembered with no head and soul to the maw and canon mean dead for good.

No nathanos, not your lordaeron , MY Lordaeron , no cockroach mount either , you get nothing willy wonka meme gif !

You can’t ressurect what doesn’t have a body anymore and last i checked the banshee dosn’t have the power to find and ressurect a soul from the maw , he is dead and that is canon yours is just assumption , wish and fan service bla bla bla !

Well…a sad regretful -Undead- Elf, yes…

But you’re absolutely right. The Forsaken need to have a racial leader that actually -is a Forsaken!- None of this Undecayed Elf with red eyes, or undecayed Human with red eyes rubbish. That is just idiotic! I want to see a proper Zombie King or Queen.
(I mean, yes, I know lorewise Sylvanas is actually pretty grim looking, but only grim looking to living elves, humans apparently don’t notice it)

We know. Thank the Gods, that it is not going to be Calia. Blizz have confirmed she is in Shadowlands for her own reasons,
I mean lets face it, She is Undead, her brother was not only Undead for a a time the Lich King himself, the helm he wore was sundered to open a realm to the lands of the Dead, and she wants to know about her dead, undead, finally dead brother.

I mean in her situation, I know where I’d go, to start getting some answers.

Lilian Voss?
Ehh, established character, but not really leadership material, being more a solo operative. Though this said, she is the Forsaken representative on the Horde Council, and we do see her on the parapet of Grommash Hold at the side of Lor’themar when he’s giving us orders.

I could actually have handled Derek Proudmoore, as he does look a bit decayed and not like some red eyed emo poster child, but he’s out of the picture now after Baine handed him over to Jaina.

I’m not sure who else there is for the Forsaken. Apothecary Farinell is supposed to be quite an important dude if I recall? Perhaps one of the High Executor’s?

Umm…Yeah you can. I mean you know that’s exactly what Nathanos was, right? After the godawful story ‘Dark Mirror’ that wasn’t his actual body…it was his nephew Stephon’s body. Hence the model change, until he became Danuser’s self insert, Nathanos actually looked like a normal Forsaken. That’s his second body that Tyrande beheaded…

Still want him to stay finished and done for. Be nice to see one of those characters who goes “Enough!” and escapes a fight actually discover what ‘Enough’ really means…

Derek was a doomed story to begin with. If Sylvanas had succeded in making him a double agent he would have been hated by both Horde and Alliance and have a massive wanted prize on his head.

If, by any means he would’ve been accepted by the Forsaken, his story would have no substance as he would just be a dead guy who was resurrected to do a dirty job.

So I guess this was the best possible outcome for him.

Lillian is out of question, she really doesn’t have leadership material.

Faranell or Belmont seem good choices but their loyalty towards Sylvanas doesn’t line with the new Horde’s ideals of honor and justice. They seem pretty much doomed to irrelevance at this point.

A redeemed Nathanos is really the way to go now. His history with the Forsaken and his latest development, with his added battlefield experience and leadership position in BFA makes him the ideal candidate for the position.

And who cares how he looks like, it’s not about the looks, it’s about the character itself. Nathanos truly ticks all the boxes.

Ahh the undeads are getting the night elf treatment?
