Well i dont play beta so idk about that…probelm with affli is that without broken dmg SP is way better with all these insant dot aplying mechanic they dont even had to cast lol

The on use trinkets will benefit greatly setup comps, i.e rogue x x or jungle/php/.
The verse part will be insane actually for rot comps, since you’ll dot people and they’ll die due to sheer pressure.
I’d like to see some nerfs to warrior intervene (rest is fine tbh) and some nerfs to pve trinkets.
Also, don’t forget 45% slow for SP if they go venthyr (not that it matters).

it crits for 14 to 15k on cloath but ye i think its still too strong and allows cheesy oneshots. They need to nerf it for atleast another 25% .
does 7 to 8k uncrit which isnt that problematic at 35 to 40k hp but if 2 have it and both crit its good. but i think pvp trinket is way better especially with 2 set boni

i think they are all good but not as good as pvp trinket and boni but as a human i can see someone playing 2 offensive or 2 defensive trinkets…

yes and i actually think my boomy is flying a bit under the radar im doing insane burst on my boomy and dont forget MM hunters who can still almost oneshot anyone with cds up and they also have high consistent dmg.
i think WW and DK arent that far away and i agree with you that sub is kinda fine if the meta wasnt that bursty and pve trinkets were gone. I think with how subs performs now a good RMP will dominate like crazy.
healer balance is really kinda good.
dont think that is necassary something bad if they have gate and port. Makes room for some “skilled” plays instead of a lock turret who spams pve all game like in 8.3
tldr: if they nerf some trinkets even more i think we are going to have alot of fun in SL. The current pvp trinket and the set boni are pretty strong.
No they need to disable it. These trinkets like drest are so stupid meta it hurts.
In Classic I oneshot somebody with a mortal strike and my trinkets contribute about 5% of my dmg.
In BFA I got oneshot by trinkets, and my character contributed about 5% of my dmg.
This isn’t exactly better than oneshotting someone with a trinket. Any kinds of 100 → 0 shots are bad.

sp/x/healer is going to be everywhere. I imagine the best Rogue comp will be RPS unless the trinkets remain totally busted. Even then, may still be RPS so perhaps the move is back (for a season at least)

If thoughtsteal remains as it is, I can totally see sp/sp or sp/disc being good. I’m unsure if they both have access to Mindgames or if that is disc specific, but if they both have mindgames I can definitely see it.
Thoughtsteal is a cool concept, but 20seconds is so long and busted.
ok i played a bit more beta today. Windwalker is 100% S Tier on the same level as rogue and warrior. Their dmg is insane without any pve trinkets.
What I don’t get is that, very ironically, some of these trinkets look like they would perform badly in a PvE environment while they would be super broken in Arena. It’s almost as if they implemented these things while having a PvP scenario in mind, but decided to make them PvE drops just to make PvP players engage in Raiding content.
I completely get what you’re saying, and I do partially agree. However I also agree with what Bloodlock is saying. 100-0 / instagibs are not healthy for the game, I think.
