The iconic base of the frost dk is missing which of course was it’s extreme PHYSICAL pressure, the current proposed talent tree is around 98% frost damage only

Resource problems that have existed since cataclysm that were not present in wrath are still in the game for yet another expansion, how many times does the frost dk have to fail in development for the runic empowerment issue and overall rune system issue to get addressed?

Resource overload, we are being given an overwhelming amount of resources to the point that we will likely not even be able to use them again which essentially creates a dead talent situation as resource talents will thus be completely pointless to take.

The centre of the general dk tree has effectively zero damage talents which means people are just going to go 100% unholy and frost every time in pve, only taking centre talents if they can clip off a non damage talent from the sides or if they feel they need a little more toughness for pvp.

numerous traits are being given access to without their precursor, for example icebound fortitude cooldown reduction without icebound fortitude, it’s weird.

the majority of the unholy side provides very small benefit to frost while the frost side provides significant benefit to unholy.

If Runic empowerment is insisted on being imposed, why is it not on the first row as it is effectively mandatory under the current flawed system meaning all specs are funnelled into high tier frost side talents no matter what they want to do.

AMZ is forced in order to take the centre even though it is fundamentally useless with the absorb capacity, you would more or less get a better result by just pressing death strike and actually doing damage with that global while gaining that hps.

Broken mechanics are still in the game such as abomination limb and the deaths advance passive.

There is basically nothing new at all, which projects the death knight as ready to fail for yet another expansion despite having 3 expansions of being a complete failure and 3 more before that of being a partial failure.

we now have the entire shadowlands worth of inspiration to draw from and none of this at all is being used to progress the class.

the frost tree doesn’t actually seem to add any functionality at all to the dk, it is literally just the equivilent of giving us a button that increases damage while providing nothing else that is actually useful for example where is chillblains, the passive slow arguement does not stand so long as rogues are given crippling poison which is far stronger and more frequently reapplied.

we still have no answer to physical attacks like back when we had unbreakable armor and true rune strike.

still no presences even though warrior gets their stances back.

still no high cost and consistant runic power ability to help control excessive runic power gains

if we are to have a rune power buff then the runes probably need a bit of work like the nigh useless rune of unending thirst
